AfCFTA, PAPSS partner to streamline cross-border payments

The Pan African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) allows secure payments to be made more efficiently and in local African currencies. The PAPSS aims to limit delays and reduce high costs thereby saving African businesses billions of dollars in trade fees which will complement the mandate of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
