Took a trip to La Cienega, a village just south of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Visited a historic village from the 1700s. Really feels like you've taken a time machine into the past..

In the words of Spock, “Fascinating”. One comment judged that you are out of shape. But I would be hard pressed to muster the energy that you have to strike out boldly in all directions. Also, I too am in awe of how people before us lived. There were no 7/11’s back then. Thank you,

Ohhh, that gift shop! I thought it was their Art room, where they artistically made stuff. I didn't realize they sold them.

I love that museum. First time I went I went as a chaperone for a class field trip when my daughter was in the first grade. Then my husband an I go every year during the Renaissance fair. I suggest you go, but you have to buy the tickets online because they sell out. Happens ever Seotember. Thank you for the video.

Wow! That was the best tour yet.!! I like that those people were friendly and told you some past history facts. Now, all they need is a coffee/ souvenir shop.

Thank you! You can bet they have a gift shop, you can see a bit at the beginning where you pay to get in.

So glad you got to visit El Rancho. I went several times a year to all the different festivals which attracts hundreds of people. Loved every visit. So it was interesting to see it with just yourself walking about. You can get lost in time there for sure. It is a lovely drive too. At least you had a hawk for company keeping its beady eye on you lol Super duper video!

Just discovered your channel! I grew up in Santa Fe, now, live in ABQ.
Las Golondrinas is one of my favorite places in NM. It's fun to go during a festival. I think they'll have their harvest festival there soon....I checked for 2024 its Oct 5-6, and the Renaissance Fair is this weekend Sept. 14-15.
Thanks for the video. I know all these spaces well.

I thought you were in for a constant lecture from the female tour guide. Visions of her holding onto your leg and not letting, thought you'd have a hard time shaking her off.
All joking aside, it was so fascinating. A simplier way of living in a different time in history. That donkey so cute, trotting along just minding his own business.
    Have a good evening friend.
The creature in the creek I think was a crawfish.

Yes, they latched on, but well intended, I'm sure😀 yes, crawfish, new to me.

@@eclecticvideosvlogsandmore I don't know where you'd find them in Albuq... maybe the river has some. But they seem to be very "shy", for wont of a better term. Probably more so, they are bottom dwellers. Neighborhood kids fished at a local pond in Texas, but I never saw one till I moved to 'Cruces. They are fairly abundant in the acequias here. Again, hard to see, but one crawled out of the water and I saw it. People actually fish for them in the acequias here.
