I was born and raised in Las Cruces NM and I don't care what they say about ABQ I love that city I've made more friends in Albuquerque than my hometown in Las Cruces ABQ is still a beautiful city it has its rough parts but what city doesn't have a rough part I can't say the same for las Cruces it seems as the whole town went bad because there are no good parts in Las Cruces city corruption is out of hand over there 💯

I love the Cabezon area. I did a lot of hiking around there in the late 80s. Very magical place.

My parents have a ranch out that way. Im dreading this week because last night they asked me to come with them. Out there. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 They filmed a few movies out. One in 1970s and one in early 2000s. The church that is across from the garden that he is spacing out on is La Mesa Presbyterian church. They give out food every weekday at 9:00 a.m. including stuff from Albertsons deli and bakery. Walkable from Central homeless friendly

Been living in Albuquerque and the war zone for 20 years. The reason number four looks nice but has high reported crime numbers is people that own houses have homeowners insurance and will actually call police when their s*** is broken into and stolen. Where I live the police won't even come to fill out a report for stolen items unless you have an insurance claim you're going to file😢

Another great excursion, UNM has lovely campuses, and that was a beautiful view of the city and mesas and volcanoes: thanks for letting us share your adventures. Also, congratulations on the encouraging test results. In my case, having a dog (now two) and an Apple Watch (warned me I was in AFib five years ago, had no idea, didn't feel it) probably saved my life.
