- Chania has some of the best beaches, not just in Crete, but in the whole of Greece. We have put together a video with some of our favourite beaches in the beautiful region of Chania.
Quick reminder, all these beaches are amazing and do not focus too much on the numbers which one is #1 or #4. These are absolutely beautiful and you will enjoy your visit in every single one! We also have quite a few more which we couldn't add on this video, but we will add them on a follow up video! While I loved Santorini, Rhodes and Corfu, I think Crete has always been my favourite Greek Island especially in Chania
you should start each beach with a map so people know the location.

Great video and some amazing beaches. If you do decide to visit Stavros beach take your own sun lounger or chairs. There is an idiot there charging €20 a sun lounger to tourists and he’s been doing it for years now. Look at Trip Adviser you will see all the complaints. Selfish arseholes like him will kill off tourism to these beautiful beaches as seen in this delightful video
Yes we are familiar with this! However this is an exception and not the rule. Most places have affordable pricing around 7 euro for the set, and other places give you free sunbeds with your drinks!
@@AllinCrete agree. I never said it was the norm. I made the point because it is Stavros Beach and nothing has been done about it for years. This behaviour at this beach will drive tourists and all visitors away.
@@tiredoftheentitled9009 Well said John! It's a shame but we're glad it doesn't happen anywhere else. Personally don't remember another beach with these prices.
Начиная с 6 я б за остальные поспорил в звании "лучшие"... Тут скорее красивые, что бесспорно, но вот критерий "лучшие"... И правильней делать 20-ку (нет Marmara, Menies, Agia Apostoli, Marathi, Lisos, Viena, Gialiskari, Kedrodasos, Krios, Katsounotos)

These beaches are all around Chania region, so there are plenty of nice hotels to find. There isn't one that is close to all, because all these beaches are away from each other! 😊
The best Video and Drone shots so far i've seen 👍 i Was in create for the first time 2018 sadly 7days isn't enough to visit and see all those beautiful places eventhow i was in Balos and Elafonise Beach which are realy beautiful.. We also join the 6Hrs Hikes but time was very limited to enjoy the place when touring with a Group 🥺. That is why i am dying to Comeback this 22.

Chania is also the entirety region, not only the city if you are not aware. So they are actually in Chania ☺️ Glad you liked them.

First of all, it should be noted that a large part of the beaches shown in this video are not in Chania! They are located for half an hour and most of them an hour or an hour and a half away from Chania! Verify the videos uploaded by random people so that after landing there will be no disappointment if you expect a stationary and not a traveling stay. I am officially reporting the guest for misleading content because Chania is not exactly the western shore of Crete. The beaches are really nice.
I think you do not that Chania is the entire region (not only the city). So they are in Chania. I would appreciate you getting a bit more information before commenting. Thanks for your comment regardless and hope you liked the video. ☺️

@@AllinCrete I'm doing research, as you've noticed, to land and not be disappointed. The trip is probably only at the end of September because I don't like super hot weather :)
