Cabin Fever Challenge 2024 - Division 3

My entry for Division 3 - Manually Operated for the 2024 Cabin Fever Challenge. Running it for a third year in a row using a restored Lee Enfield No1Mk3* SMLE. The competition is just for fun and tests your individual marksmanship skills which is why I am stoked to have once again improved my score over previous years (2024 = 43.6 points, 2023 = 36.9 points, 2022 = 18.18 points)

Not original unfortunately. I bought a sporterized rifle and bought reproduction wood and reblued all the hardware. It was a fun winter project a few years ago

This is my best score yet with this rifle in the last 3 years of CFC I've entered with it. All it takes is practice and a little bit of luck lol

Is that the usual accuracy for a SMLE?

Off a bench and with better tailored ammunition, it can definitely do better. The limit is the operator and the iron sights for sure. A good shooter and ammunition can expect to get around 2" groups at 100 yards at best
