    Most underrated play of the game, Gee Scott catch to setup the 4 and 2 on the last scoring drive. He was stopped way short and he fought for 3 yards. He made the play to setup the Will Howard run that got us into the red zone. The effort out of the senior and graduate players showed up in the Cotton Bowl.

    I was really impressed by Will Howard’s handling of the low snap through the whole game. He doesn’t get enough credit for the adjustments he has made to help the newer iterations of the OL.

    The Skycast coverage of the Sawyer TD was great. They didn't even show the PAT - it just focuses on Sawyer on the sideline the entire time.

    It was hard to see him because he ended up at the bottom of the pile, but Arvell Reese was a big key to that 1st down goal line stop by JTT.

    Please get rid of the scarlet gloves and wrist bands to cut down on penalties. The refs can't call what they don't see.

      @dilldowschwagginz2674 14 дней назад +2

      Right on. Most people don't even think of that but it's true. Contrasting, bright colors stand out to the refs and when it's about a players gloves that are bright and contrasting against the opponents uniforms - you can expect there to be more flags

    Quinshon had the 18 inches he needed on the 3rd and 1 toss play, but he danced, as he is prone to doing, and looked for a better hole, and then got stuffed. If he hit the first hole hard, he easily gets a yard. He had an amazing game, though.

    Great job! Thoughts for format improvement: When you highlight over the sections in the slider bar, the section titles come up white. They are helpful. But, when the section title goes over the name tags, white on white is very difficult to see. How about name tags a different color or put the name tags in an upper corner?

    Penalties: Ohio State 9/75, Texas 5/54. Sure seemed like the ones called against Ohio State were more impactful? I count 5 penalties against the Buckeyes that killed or altered drives and 2 more (the PIs) that definitely COULD have altered the game? I seem to remember 2 Texas penalties, 1 being the taunt yinz talked about that had similar effect and as Gerd tweeted and I've repeated on quite a few of similar analysis podcasts, while holding can be called every play as Tom pointed out, that the Buckeye DL rarely gets it called (Marshall game?) and Sawyer not since he was in his 1st month as a freshman goes too far, Tom.

    I learned that John Cooper 2.0 can not string together 3 good game plans in a row. They were very lucky to win this one and if Day has the same poor game plan for Notre Dame they will get beat. Besides xichigan, Notre Dame is the team I hate the most because in my youth they cut The Woody Hayes show from an hour to 30 minutes for Ara Parsegian and Notre Dame. It caused me to hate them and I hated hearing Joe Montana this and Joe Montana that. Let's hope Day can get it right

      They had the right plan. Take away key penalties and a better throw to Smith and OSU may have hope ed with a 21 point lead.Althiugh maybe more runs off tackle would have been better than up the middle.

      You stink. Michigan might be a better fit for your negativity. Exciting perfectly in three consecutive games is very difficult. Texas has a stellar defense. Dropped passes, the stumble on the perfectly called QB run, personal foul against Henderson… the players made it harder than it needed to be, not the coaches. And, the defense stepped up to take some pressure off. Please find a new team to disparage.
