Wario Land 3 is a video game released for the Game Boy Color in 2000. In this game, Mario's archrival Wario must free a mysterious figure who is trapped inside a music box.
Got all 100 treasures in 4 hours.

I love this game so much but could never beat it
One minute into this game I looked up this video to try and figure out what the hell I was supposed to do.

Wowww..seeing all the things you need to unlock to get to new areas of the stages is sooo nostalgic

Genius game, total masterpiece. Few things in my life were as satisfying as that Perfect! screen after you get all the treasure.

Sorely underrated. Shame this isn't a gamer classic. Take out the golf and it would've been better. The backtracking was fun IMO because it was kind of an anticipation of what's ahead. Loved it.
Agreed. The golf game wasn't bad once you got the hang of it but it was frustrating. It was also kind of frustrating to lose your natural abilities from Wario Land 2, but it made the game better once you finally accepted it.
The level selection system and generous save function do make this the perfect portable game in my opinion. Aside from getting lost, levels are fairly short and keep a good pace. It's a shame that everyone only talks about WL2 and WL4. I feel that 3 is the most memorable/best one.
I got this game for Christmas I couldn't for the life of me beat that stupid golf mini game and just stoped playing I totally forgot what I did with

@AΙΩΝ ΑΕΝΑΟΣ Yeah I was little at the time but you gotta admit the golfing mini game is a pain in the ass and did you get all those big coins you find each level
I’ve recently replayed this game, and if they do another Wario Land, I really hope they take a lot from this one, it was a blast to play again, and felt much better than I remembered, looking for the keys was fun, and I really love the fact that the treasures aren’t just collectibles, they have actual purposes that help the world grow and power Wario up, this game is awesome
its one of the few games I would give 10/10 and I have played a lot. It has some cons but still it's masterpiece.

Sure that it isn't man. It's just to get some tips from a friend that knows it. I also thought this way when had my GBC but my friend (owner of the cartridge) always helped then i had problems to solve some enigmas.

Love this game too, but it is hard for me to describe why I somehow felt this game was a bit distant….I guess probably because of the music, the theme song of Marioland 3 and Warioland 2 is way too classical.

WHY Wario land 4 isn't like Wario land 3 ???? This game is almost Perfect. GBA version should be even better but... :(
I think the same basically the gbc was better on each aspect i think it was way longer better controls on my opinion, also better soundtrack idk why but the gba version feels like a cheap wario land 3 in my opinion
What flaws do you think it has? I have played hundred of games and this is one of the few 10/10 that I gave. From small flaws is only one boss fight and the boss fight itself is way too easy. But the rest is just perfection.

@@Cypek100 I see, I just asked because some people just know Wario Land 4 in GBA and If anyone plays 4 previously, maybe they even don't play 3 thinking that it's a mediocre like 4 is. I agree with you about everything. The only item that maybe Would be improved is graphics because GBC had a tiny color pallete and limited frame animation comparing to GBA. Of course that this issue don't get any influence to the amazing game that 3 is (a lawful metroidvania to me, inclusively). It would be just a plus and it was I was waiting for Warioland 4.

Doesn't make sense, sometimes you catch coins, and the bigger ones, others you don't. And you have early access to most of them in the beginning. So much potential wasted here.
Other than that, it's a cool video, and helped me a lot.

How do you know where to go next?
After you unlock a new area or ability, the levels light up and show you that you can get something new from that level. In the beginning the game is very linear but later you have more and more choices which level to go to next.

Looks like a silly version of a mario game with metroid concepts in it,
The graphics are astounding & colorful but reentering the same levels to exploire new parts ,gets really old pretty fast.
Try the other 4 wario games. Wario land 4 is my (and almost everyone's) favorite.

This is a silly thought. You should be considerig how old this game is. That kind of mechanic of replayong levels was kinda new and that thing made succesful a lot of games on all consoles. You are probably too young to comment this game, as well as ypu cannot appreciate it. But that is not your fault.

every level has 4 treasure chests, that cannot be collected right away, maybe you need an item or an ability from another level. There is a lot of backtracking in this game.

@@totozsab2346 Okay, hilarious story, this is like my second Wario Land now after 4. I played through all 100 treasures and absolutely loved it xD had a bad first impression, probably dumb.

I understand why you said this though. There is a solid learning curve to it. There really is no other game like WL3. Once it clicks, you realize it's an awesome game aside from some occasional bs moments.
@@TBrizzle01 yeah it's really unique, even by Wario Land standards. And you're right, eventually it just clicks and you realize it's a masterpiece. God I love this franchise
