If I remember right, the farm house didn't protect the farmers, it just ment they would start the day there rather then running back and forth each day.
This is how i remember it to be
The farm house protected them .At night they stayed inside

@@georgeofhamilton Far Right, Alt Right: meh same thing. The so-called "Alt Right" was already a thing in the developing world (where I live alas) long before the West decided to join in. Not that it matters that the Greed come in two different flavours: the Alt Right steals from the poor, and the Radical Left steals from the middle class.

Woohoo! I was waiting an update for this game to see you playing it again, Aavak. This game is the reason why I subbed your channel. Btw, the farmers were never safe in the farm - so nothing’s changed, my Lord!
Yeah, a fair few things I forgot from the last time I played, but it's all coming back to me now :)
If it helps, and if it's anything like the old version of the game, deer will still spawn behind your defense if you leave enough forest.
It was useful if you are going to be there through winter because farms stopped producing and deer remained a steady source of income.
The way Aavak speaks, not only the choice of words but the accent, really makes he sound like a monarch of some kind.
It's so funny how every let's player who played New Lands has the same idea how the game will go, when in fact quite a few of the core things from New Lands have changed completely in this version. XD
Spoilers:
For instance what Aavak expects of Blood Moons is incorrect for the first bunch of islands. Also the idea of building the ship and leaving an island as soon as possible will bite you in this game.
Also @17:55 "We ran aground, always happens". No, not necessarily, at least not when going back to previous islands. :)
BTW From the Official devs FAQ on the Steam Community page:
Q: Once I build a ship and leave the island, is the kingdom considered secure?
A: Hahahaha, that's cute. Not even close.

I honestly could cry. Aavak I found your content when I was looking for a kingdom lets play about two or three years ago, I love the kingdom games so much and now my favorite player has returned to them. I cannot wait till I can play this game and have your lets play on in the background again.

That commentry is as peaceful as how the background graphics look in this game. The Narrator's voice brings music to my ears. He has that David Attenborough/Warhammer style narrative voice.

When I first saw the stag mount, I thought of the forest spirit from Princess Mononoke. I think it’s the branching antlers, plus the way it turns and looks at the “camera”

Me who just purchased Two Crowns after playing Norse Lands demo: 😅😅
I like the small Details, for example that they switched the "Stone-Building"-Shrine to just simply a Stone-Mine.
Back then it was "Mylord, thou can only build Structures of Stone, if thou hast paid Coin at the Shrine of Stone." (I'm aware, that my "ye olde English" is terrible)
Now it's simply "We have a Mine, so now we can build things out of Stone".
I didn't immediately recognize the name, but as soon as I saw the game I got really excited! Your series on the previous ones were great and I'm looking forward to this one. It's good to be the king!
Having just survived my first week of snowfall, I can honestly say the STAG is one of the MVP mounts. I'm not finding much for money during winter, my money Mule has not shown up on island 3 yet, but I'm up to stone around my camp
The stag can attract deer by standing still and given em the ol' fancy eyes. They follow you into your archers line of fire. You'd assume there wouldn't be many deer on an island during winter, but 2-4 deer(2-3 coins) per day with rabbits(1 coin) filling in the rest, I'm sustaining myself so far
I've had the options of a green thicc horse, a war-horse, and the griffin over 5-6 saves, but the stag has brought me farther than the rest. I've got island 2 all but fully conquered, just bullying the greed
I'm so excited you're playing this! Kingdom is how I found your channel originally, so it's very nostalgic seeing you play this again
It's one of my favourite games in recent years :)
You should leave a lot of coins on the ground near the boat .... and pay for the boat ... and as you leave the extra coins on the ground should "fly" into your purse! :-) That way you will always have the full purse when you reach the next new land ;-)
OMG! I watched your Gnomoria series long ago (long live Castle Goat), yesterday I just discovered Kingdom Classic and now I find that you have a Kindom Two Crowns. My week keeps getting better.
Sadly, a game bug prevented me from completing the series as it made my save file unplayable (the curse of playing a game /right/ after it comes out) but I do get quite far, so for as long as the journey lasts, I hope you enjoy the chill vibes :)

I've spent a little over 4 hours with this game and I have no clue what's going on, what I'm doing, why things are happening, what anything means lol first thing that's said in the video "the game is simple enough to learn on your own"

Aavak you monster, you always tease your poor horse, standing there and once it starts eating you start moving again before it can have any effect^^
the boat is build in one go only in the tutorial

In case you dont' know, you should let your horse eat grass, it will have more stamina.

This game should give a better tutorial like how hermits work. At first I thought they were decoys for greedlings because mine got stolen off horseback.

Hey Aavak idk if you batch recorded these episodes but since its been so long since you played the older games heres some reminders of some things.
Farms dont protect farmers.
Upgrading your camp upgrades the first wall and towers for free.
Hermits jump off your mount if your close to the walls at night.
And knights could ride the boat if you made them follow the boat. Dont know if the knights can still do that in the new game though.

They didn't really remove anything just added so allot of the old mechanics are still there just tweaked and of course all the new ones witch is allot

I actually have plenty of resources on hand, but chances are you are going to be a Sage, an Elder Magus, a Crystal Star wizard (or less likely a Kloon) -- assuming, of course, I can squeeze them in to do what I want using the old Rise of Nations engine.
