- Johnny Depp is once again expected to take the stand in his lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, drawing crowds to the courtroom Monday in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Attorneys for actor Amber Heard spent much of last week trying to portray her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, as a jealous and drunken abuser who can only blame himself for his nose-diving Hollywood career.
Since Heard concluded her testimony in a Virginia courtroom Tuesday, her lawyers have presented witness testimony from people who were once close to Depp but shunted from his orbit. They've included Depp's former longtime agent, the actor Ellen Barkin and Heard's sister.
The attorneys' goal: Undermine Depp's libel suit against Heard. The suit claims she falsely portrayed him as a domestic abuser and cost him his lucrative film career, including the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie franchise.
Depp points to a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which Heard described herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” Depp's lawyers say he was defamed by the article even though it never mentioned his name.
The trial now enters its sixth week.

The psychiatrist looks like a villain. Amber's defense is nothing but unsavory characters.

The Psychiatrist......there is a difference between confidence in the knowledge of your career and being arrogant in the knowledge of your career. I'd have a hard time willingly seeing this man as my psychiatrist .

Opinions. Opinions. The gaslighting of these witnesses is insane. He wasn't there. He doesn't know. The audio is all the proof needed and the jury can't even listen to it. How is it okay for the jury to make a decision based off some of the truth? The audio proves she did it and she cries over and over about how she messed up and didn't mean to hurt him and how sorry she is. Makes me sick that the jury only knows some of the truth and will base such a huge decision on some of the truth. I hope some of them heard the audio regardless of the rule to not look online. The justice system is such a joke when the jury doesn't hear the full truth.
The second guy was a total disaster. He was only speaking about Depp's addictions and outbursts but won't talk about Amber's substance use in general AND her use of drugs around her husband who was struggling with addiction. He also completely ignores Amber's violence, outbursts, gaslighting, and controlling nature. All caught on audio. Not sure why his lawyers didn't drive all that in yet. They're really missing important stuff. It's all so one sided when her witnesses speak and they speak as if they were there. Everything the psychiatrist said about Depp applied to Amber as well. Everything he explained was Amber to a tee. And then he brings up Narcissistic personality traits. I'm speechless. The irony is heavy. You mean Amber? With her need for praise and attention and control? Gaslighting and manipulating? Can never be wrong? Paints herself a saint even though she's not? Pathological lying? Doesn't actually donate to charity but lies that she does to get the praise unlike Depp who actually has donated and does charity work? I couldn't even believe my ears with these doctors. He said he "was told it was vomit." So her team tries to feed their witnesses false information. Never even spoke to Depp. And his behavior and faces were so bizzare. His level of arrogance and condescending nature. Absolute twilight zone.

Once on the jury myself for a high profile case, even though I liked and tended to favor the line of questions by one particular lawyer, by the time I was in the jury deliberation room, I couldn't go by likes, but by facts, and in the end, her client was convicted.
Today, the first doctor poked holes, the second doctor was too general, but was still rooted in clinical fact regarding science and human nature, and the questions posed to the final witness of the day by Depp's team were redundant, poorly executed, and lent nothing to his aid. It was as if they had no real questions but trying to make it seem as if they had some that could truly discredit her position. I hope they are better prepared tomorrow.
In Depp's team, the women are stronger, clearer lawyers.

Was it explained to this man that the injured finger was dipped in paint and wrote on mirrors and will call night before going to get medical attention? so myself not being a doctor could even see fraying of the tip of the injured bone happening
I think This Man needs more time to make such a Assessment of the facts. His assumptions are not Convincing. Videos are not reality. They are videotaped & can be Defaming. Isn’t this case about Defamation. & OMG 🤦🏻♀️ the injury Johnny Sustained Is Severe & Conclusive. It’s a Severe REAL Injury. This should be thrown out of court !!

the professional witness/ psychiatrist stated there should be no reason why a 58 year old man should not get at least one right on a memory test. I beg to differ. STRESS! is one. TRAUMA is another. Depps attorney today, the gentleman, sucked! Shouldve had Vasquez question these nuts Heard brought on today. This was a poor call to let this guy talk, he seemed to have stumble over every question/statement. Johnny, don't let that guy argue again!
