For this list, we’ll be looking at the best titanic robots that went toe-to-toe with monsters in this long running franchise. Minor spoilers ahead. Our countdown includes the Mega Voyager from “Power Rangers in Space” (1998), the Supertrain Megazord from “Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue” (2000), the White Tigerzord from “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” (1993-95), the Legendary Megazord from “Power Rangers Super Megaforce” (2014), and more! RIP to Jason David Frank. Also, we should see a list of top 20 Power Rangers Team Finishers.
And that finisher should be the objective pick, not the nostalgic pick. For instance, in Zenkaiger (I know it's Sentai), there are four Rangers whose Ranger forms take of shape of past megazords, and it one spectacular episode, they got to finish a wave of giant monsters as giants themselves. They would normally transform into gigantic zords and become megazords, but something different happened, and they got to be big Rangers, instead, and it was sick.
I'll miss Tommy Oliver he was the most legendary ranger I have ever met. May the dragon zord, tiger zord and the falcon zord never be forgotten along with their ranger.

Dino Thunder is quite arguably the best series of Power Rangers tho.
One of the best themes as well.
I always loved the Thunder Megazord. Unlike almost all the other Megazords, which are just zords stacked on top of each other, that one was a warrior putting on their armor.

@@stevenb590 I won't argue with you on that point. They did a lot of video splicing for the first half of the season to make it look like both the Thunder Megazord and the Dragonzord are in the same fights. I'm just saying that I love the Thunder Megazord's rather unique design.
Word plus the theme and thunderbolts when they get ready combine was fire I was like oh snap it's a rap
I always got so hyped up when the Megazords showed up in Power Rangers. The White Tigerzord is probably my personal favorite
I was always bummed when there were episodes with megazord battle but a a zord battle was good enough
The one thing I found kinda crazy was that the production team for MMPR eventually got their own Thunder Megazord and White Tigerzord suits, so they could've filmed their own Thunder Megazord battles instead of relying on Super Sentai footage. But they only used the suits at the start of Season 3 in order to film the Zords' destruction. I understand that the Sentai footage was especially cheap to use over filming their own footage, but it still feels like a waste to have the suits just to use them only once.
They had them before that just didn’t use them, they got all the suits and props all at once
They used them in Season 2, but only in a handful of episodes. Saban also filmed their own Zord footage from Season 4 onwards, but outside of a handful of episodes, it was just to replace specific shots of Sentai footage that were unusable in Power Rangers. From Wild Force onward, they stopped doing suit footage at all and any original footage just used the same CG models Sentai uses.

One of my absolute favorite megazords in the power rangers franchise is the Mega Voyager Megazord from power rangers in space. It was the strongest megazord from power rangers in space. Such a shame it was among the many megazords that were destroyed in the franchise.
In Megaranger, In Space's counterpart, that was the final battle, and the monster was actually a Zord used by the main villain who attempted to suicide himself with the rangers.

Personally, I would have included the titan megazord from mystic force, it has a unique appearance and is also one of the most powerful due to its different functions and its magic-based powers
Off the top of my head, the most glaring omissions are: the Zeo Megazord, with its versatile helmet system, and The Solar Streak, with its fantastic energy redirection.
It's nice to see other people geeking out about zords.
Lemme guess, #1 is gonna be the Mighty Morphin Megazord because of course it is.

This is what it's always like with these kinds of lists; it's always the first entry (or the first to popularize) that they consider "the best", even if there are better entries later on.
E.g. Pokemon Red and Blue are always considered to be the best Pokemon games, even though gens 3 to 5 are way better. Street Fighter 2 is always considered the best Street Fighter (and even best fighting game!!!) even though 3 and 4 are better. OG Yu-Gi-Oh! is considered the best era of Yu-Gi-Oh!, even though the synchro era is very similar but sightly faster and more exciting.
@@user-jc2lz6jb2e Megazord is one of the best if not the best for obvious reasons; capable of being literally an all-terrain battle tank armed to the teeth with lasers and cannons. In warrior mode; Chest shield, when that isn't enough to deflect attacks a buckler type shield using the mastodon head, offensively its able to punch and use a sword as well as use eye lasers. It would murder most other zords there have ever been with the exception of the Dragonzord, Tigerzord, and maybe shogun megazord. Combine it with the Titanos and Dragonzord and that combo literally murders anything. Anything. Zeomegazord is a close second to the original megazord. Any zords beyond this time just grew in absurdity as the show makers tried to grow ever "cooler", but failed miserably and just ended up giving newer zords the same abilities older ones had but in a new way while also somehow making the zords look crap.
I'm amazed that the Super Train Megazord took the number two spot. The Super Train Megazord still has the best debut of a second megazord in Power Rangers History.

Astro Megazord literally carried the entire team lol. Jokes aside, it is one of the best zords in the franchise. It served the ranger as their home & transport and was able to combat in space like a godamn gundam . Besides that, as the rangers lost their other "powerful" zords , good ol' Astro was the one who is always there for them. Not to mentioned it also returned back in Lost Galaxies. This zord truly a legend
In Space was the season that had some of the best megazords, and the best megazord battles. Astro Megazord was their solid go to for some time.

I'm glad the Super train megazord made number 2. I love trains and seeing that beast of a train turn into a behemoth of a zord....I had goosebumps as a kid. Almost brought me to tears lol
My favorite power rangers is jungle fury it’s so underrated, and I just love the concept of spirit animals as their power source and mechs.
Not listed here but my favorite was the Shogun Megazord. Loved how the individual Zords were all warriors who came together to form this Megazord that pretty much looked like a walking temple
This list needs another top 10, there's a boatloads of great Megazords, Power Rangers Zeo second Megazords after the first one, Power Rangers Ninja Storm Thunder Rangers Megazords, and of course Power Rangers Wild Force. Wild Force has lots of diversity with their zords its uncanny, the most awesome one is the Isis Megazord. That Megazord is a thing of beauty.
Jungle Fury wasn't even on the list I loved that season with the addition of the Wolf and Rhino Rangers

Every time we watch any power rangers series, Tommy is always there, R.I.P. JDF and my favorite megazord is the Lightspeed Solarzord it is so phenomenal

Man whenever I think of Power Rangers. The first thing that comes in mind are the Megazords since I'm kind of a sucker for giant robots.

The megazord that made my childhood, at #3, never thought id see the day
The megazord were my favorite thing about power rangers and there are so many great zords. Some of my favorite zords that are not on the list included Max Solarzord, Thunderzord, Predazord, Mega Winger, Light rescue megazord, and RPM ultrazord (the first megazord to be created with 12 zords).
Great list. I love how the SWAT Megazord can roundhouse kick freaking lasers. It’s so absurd and I love it.
It's better in DekaRanger, instead of lasers, it's bullets and missiles.
My favorite has to go to the Mega Voyager, Titan Megazord, and the Zeo Megazord. The Mega Voyager is cohesive in the sense that at a glance, you wouldn't guess that it's a 5-zord combiner. The Titan Megazord, while not as cohesive, makes up for it with the Mage esthetics, dynamic wingspan, and alternate dragon mode.
The Zeo Megazord is favored specifically for being based off of ancient civilizations which helped give it this overworldly mystical vibe. The fact that it still exists somewhere as some "ancient piece of Power Ranger history" really elevates its own motif, if not makes it more powerful, like it's literally aging like wine.
For me major omissions would be the Super Zeo Megazord (Looks so cool and clean with the various shapes/colors) and the Rescue Megazord (each Zord had 2 modes, emergency vehicle and transformer robot. The actual Megazord looked very threatening too).
Ultrazords are the best and most powerful magezords in power rangers history.
Mega voyager was awesome. At the time I didn't know it shared a name with its sentai counterpart till I watched someone review the toy. That's what makes it awesome

That was a awesome top 20 MegaZords from the Power Rangers franchise and I absolutely adore the the MegaZords from the franchise, just amazing in my opinion.
As a huge fan of the Power Rangers franchise and a fan of the Super Sentai franchise, they look pretty amazing and very powerful for the Rangers in my opinion.
That is my favorite part of Power Rangers. The Megazord fights and the Rangers fights are also the best parts of the franchise of Power Rangers.
Thundersaurus MegaZord will always be my favorite Megazord transformation and also Dino Thunder was my favorite series on Abc Kids in Saturday mornings. While other Megazords are cool, I grew up with that and used to own the Megazord when my parents got me a gift on my 8th birthday
I liked the Beast X King Zord because it has access to a Battle Mode, it can combine with the Beast Wheeler and Chopper Zords to form the Beast X King Megazord, and can combine with Beast Wheeler, Chopper, Wrecker, and Jet Zords to form the Beast X King Ultrazord. It also served as delivering the final blow against the Venjix/Evox Virus.

I think there should be an honorable mention for the Titan Megazord from Mystic Force. For one, it can literally turn into a dragon. Come on. Two, not only that but that formation leaves the Phoenix Zord (which was just a humanoid warrior) to ride atop or even just battle alongside it, making a big battle hugely in the Rangers’ favor. Three, its Megazord form not only comes with the classic sword but it can also cast magic of its own. One of my favorites
The original mmrp megazord holds a special place in my heart but the ShogunZord is pretty badass!!
Red Dragon Thunderzord will always be my fav... while it does combine with the other four thunderzords, it is capable of fighting on it's own.
1: In Dragon-mode it can fly through the air, and strike enemies with it's sharp claws, and it's massive fiery attack.
2: It undergoes an EXTREMELY COOL transformation into warrior-mode (I think he looks like a handsome prince) where it is capable of more frontal attacks, and wields a strong staff to aid it in battle and finish off the monsters.
In The Original Japanese Version,
The Shogun Megazord was The 1st Set
while The Ninja Megazord was The 2nd Set

Can We also appreciate that, even now; all the Megazords are used live-action suits during the fights. No CGI (aside from finishers and whatnot mind you).

This is a great list, but you gotta stop pandering to the genwunners. There are far better mega/ultrazords than "the nostalgic one". The Mystic Force megazord can take the form of a warrior riding a freaking dragon!

When they were talking about the Wild Force Megazord, I’m surprised they didn’t show some respect to the Kongazord. When Red Lion had to tag out for a while, the Kongazord more than carried the load for the Rangers and dished out some serious buttkickings.

I like the Megazord's from different Power Rangers shows
White Tiger Dragonzord is one of my favorites. Yes, I know it never appeared in live action but it is cannon as it appeared during The Eltarian War story-line from Boom! Studios Power Rangers comic. White Ranger (Tommy) and the new Green Ranger (Matt) combine their Zords to fight off one of three god like beings. I really want to see that Zord in live action or animation as well as a toy to be released.
my favorite is the storm megazoid. mainly cuz of the lightning mode. i like the less bulky brick zoids cuz it means the actors can actually pull off cool moves and not just stand there. which is why i like that dragonzoid as well. the red one that formed the thunder megazoid

All the Zords all awesome the weapons looked epic and the damage that they inflicted to their enemies was even better in power rangers Samurai i loved how Antonio could use tech symbols to bring defeated Zords back like he did with the Claw Zord and the fact that he made a

Two of favorite Megazords ever is the Thundersaurus megazord from Dino thunder and the Q rex battle mode from Time force thier both T rex based but loaded with awesome weapons and powerful attacks🔥🔥.

My favorite Megazord is the Chronos Hyperforce Megazord, technically the most advanced Megazord currently since it's the Megazord furthest down in the Timeline. The components are great, Red-Lion, Blue-Snake, Black-Cerberus, Yellow-Ram, and Pink-Phoenix. Also it's ability to be compatible with zords of the past to form new combinations like the Mega-Megazord in Shattered Grid, combining with Super-Zeo-Pink, Jungle-Fury-Purple-Wolf, Dino-Charge-Plesiozord, Ninja-Storm Megazord, and Mystic-Force Megazord all at once was a pretty powerful supreme combo. As far as Megazords it's like using the Nuclear Option.
I love tokusatsu stuff like Power Rangers/ Super Sentai and Godzilla movies. Thank you Watchmojo for this list
White tigerzord was my favorite i still have it. Is the 1 of the toys that survived my brother most of them perished in his hands.

Right behind you on that I've lost a lot good toys because of my brother he practically destroyed his own toy's as well. I lost two mystic force action figures and a star wars action figure because of him. At my megazords and transformers barely survived.
