Tidy, get yourself the Allen key bolts instead of using spanner u can use drill attachment on em, Shame they don't put em in colorfill kit, mate done my worktops n refused to use the spanner ones 😂
lol, I get why some people don’t but I actually prefer the spanner ones, I have had a few of the torx ones strip out on me, you don’t get that with the 10mm spanner ones, I think it’s just personal preference really
I prefer using a 2 bolt hole jig, because I like to be able to reposition my bolt holes and I like to use the spanner type bolts as I can get more purchase on them, but thanks for your comment 🍻
@@LTWCarpentry good to hear that someone with a Festool rates it as not bad though. As seeing as festool is the other end of the cordless market price wise. For you to say it’s ok an to have one it must be ok for the general DIY person thank you 👍🏻
@@LTWCarpentry that’s my point you have both we all know festool are very good but you can say how good the Einhell is compared to the festool having both. And doing what you do for a living you know most people have a cheap tool for stuff and like you said spend then money on other tools when needed. But for the general DIY person who isn’t using them every day we would go for the einhell over the festool.
I don’t personally agree I think a mitre on a square edge worktop dosent look right, I’m afraid I don’t understand why you would need to buy and extra worktop if you was to mitre it
No it’s not mdf it’s a chip board core and a laminate on the face, very hard wearing actually, the butcher block board is a great worktop but requires upkeep, it’s not for everyone. These tops a low maintenance just got to keep the joints dry really and the rest will look after itself
A craftsman who knows what he’s doing and has the right tools, professional 👍🏴
Cheers for the comment Warren! 🍻👍
Yes mate silicone in the joint
I saw that! Get a proper set of silicone tools and take an extra 10 minutes

Nice work 💪🏻 do you only do a masons mitre when joining a bull nosed worktop?
Hi buddy thanks for you comment! Yes I don't do them on square edged worktops as I think it looks cleaner with a butt joint 🍻👍
Get yourself a jig with 3 bolt templates and use a ratchet spanner or the new Allen key ones. But good job.

Great video do you have to use a bag with the Einhell vac or is it bag less please ?
Hi Simon it come with a bag but to be honest I’ve been using it without and it’s been fine
From fake granite to fake butcher block, also use some eye protection at least.
Well done for the so observant !
i like the old ones better
👍🏻
Nice work as always.
Thanks again!
What’s the Hoover you are using and how would you rate it please ?
It’s only a cheap one mate, it’s a einhell, not bad but no match for my festool

Tidy job
Cheers buddy !
safety glasses FFS
You do you
Dust mask?
There great aren’t they
Lovely stuff!
Cheers buddy 👍🍻
A mitre cut would look a lot better on the corner. Woth the cost of extra bench top.

Guess he means because as a mitre both pieces are longer to reach the corner. I agree square cuts look better with square edge.
If only it was as quick as yr video..good job buddy 👍
That was recorded in real time 😂 thanks for your comment 🍻
Just like that! 🎉
Boom ! Richard is back ! 🍻
Nice job as usual 👏
Cheers Jim 🍻
Is that MDF? That stuff chips all the time, wouldnt it be better to use like, an actual butcher block or something?

This is more than likely a flip home. Or an apartment. Cheap is the way to go..
Smashing job 🪚
Cheers Matt 🍻
@@LTWCarpentry I’m a chippie myself, love watching your videos 💪🏽

@@LTWCarpentry do you always use silicone on the joints?
