Ok but "I've never felt closer to God than being handed a million-dollar check from a multinational corporation for lying and cheating on national television" may be one of my favorite quotes in recent memory
@@ms.bubs4fun506 Ehh, on paper they look like they would and that's why they were disappointed with this twist lol. Wish it was like this on the main show. It would be interesting since the dominant alliance wouldn't be so dominant like they were in the Spy Kids last season >_>
To give some context to Shannon's attitude towards the beginning, Shannon and her then boyfriend were alts for the season and she made it in but he didn't. She was disappointed that he wasn't there explaining why it seemed like she didn't want to be there at first.
Brilliant 1st episode. As a Challenge fan I wasn’t sure of the random reality players, granted I know most of them. The storylines from other shows played so well into the episode. I like the different game play from the various shows. The teams switch up makes for a dynamic game. You actually have to play and cannot skate through. What I liked most is that a lot of them are fans of the Challenge and actually watched it. Xavier is cementing himself in the game, a very social player. I’m glad Kyland won the elimination. I like the fact that he respects the game and watched 10 seasons prior to coming in. James politicked for his LIFE, he was definitely on the chopping block.
I could tell they were huge fans of the challenge the moment all of them finished the daily, even Azuh risked her health to complete it Wow they made me so proud and excited
James came to play and he did a great job this episode. Loved seeing him do well this week. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
The format in this challenge is so much better than the MTV challenge. Last place sent straight into elimination... yes please. Teams changing every week... yes please. A qualification requirement for the final (akin to gold skull/red skull)... yes please. Now just bring these to the Challenge proper so we don't get the same seasons constantly.
Yeah I'm loving the format. Which is great they locked in a good format as we'll be seeing the same format for another 3 seasons with the other spin offs to come this year. Looking forward to see how the season goes. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I must say, this has been a breath of fresh air from the repetitiveness of what the MTV version has been for the past couple of years. Having a whole fresh cast is perfect, since it is not the same alliance coming back and running the season against the rookies. I think the dynamic of people having relationships from their original shows and not The Challenge brings us back to the old school RW/RR days. I like that duos will be changing every mission, and there is no repeating of partners. It eliminates a steam roll and I think the individual shows will have to turn on each other sooner than later. I know you had mentioned the mission was not as exciting to watch, but I liked it and it reminded me of an older school Challenge as opposed to the "detonating a bomb" theme we have been getting. I like the 90 minute episodes, because we got to see a lot of people, but I still need to see how the switching team dynamic helps/hurts peoples games.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I completely agree. My expectations weren’t super high form this as I wasn’t familiar with the players from other shows but they delivered.
As a reality tv junkie, I loved this episode. I knew almost every challenger and their past connections so the amount if storylines going was really entertaining. There was a great balance of everything (could've seen less challenge heats, but I digress). Knowing the contestants but them not having huge challenge egos is refreshing and reveals the problems of the main show. I know a lot of people don't like rookie casts, but it's time to let go of some of the current challengers (permanently or to all stars) and let new challenges take up the show
I 100% agree. The vets and their huge alliance makes the flagship show boring and predictable. And many of them are arrogant for no reason (Tori, Fessy, etc).
I enjoyed the episode way more than I thought I would! I really don’t know anyone outside of BB so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it. Tyson, Tasha, Danny, Shan, and James grew on me quickly and I’ll be rooting for them (along with my faves (Azah, Tiff, X, Angela, and Enzo). I love the partner twist it’ll definitely shake things up and keep people on their toes! I haven’t been excited to watch The Challenge in more than a few seasons 😅 I definitely can’t wait for next Wednesday though!! 🙌🏾🥳
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I was surprised at how much I liked it and survivor has so many great personalities/game players. I think this season will be great after that first episode
@Kayla C. I agree with your comment whole heartedly. This episode was really good and way better than expected. I'm intrigued by the format. I'm looking forward to seeing how the season goes and who gets paired with whom to see how they mesh in the new team dynamics/alliances. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
@@AngelcakeVids for sure looking forward to all the different pairings and how the power players navigate them! I think we’re in for a really good season! Thanks for all the work you do! and expect to see me in the Patreon soon, I’m gonna need the Tiny Table Talks on these episodes for sureee 🙌🏾😂
Love the twist because otherwise it could have gotten stale. Partner faces esp. Angela and Tyson made my day. No steam rolling this Challenge season! Another great review!
I knew something was gonna happen with the pairs because a simple "choose your own partners" at the beginning of one challenge is too easy and not compelling enough for pairs the rest of the season. I'm excited to see how the teams work together each episode and how it changes the power from week to week. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Loved the first episode! Glad to see they are back to having the worst performing team going straight to elimination. I was getting tired of challenges being thrown. I also like the partner switches. Has a free agents feel which was one of my favourite seasons, so I am here for this!!
This format is exciting. And I'm happy the format is good because we probably will be seeing it at least 3 more times with the other 3 spinoffs coming this year. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Same. I came in cautiously optimistic and was pleasantly surprised. Very much looking forward to Wednesday nights. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
This season starting to look promising than I thought it was going to be. A lot of the challengers on here know about The Challenge prior and are familiar with the atmosphere it creates. So, I’m actually excited to see where this spin-off is going
Same. I was surprised to see so many people know who TJ was or was familiar with the show. We don't even get that on the main season where people are competing for double the money. Looking forward to Wednesdays. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
It felt like old school real world v road rules but with more shows. The algorithm and just being in the house will mix things up. I hope they bring back “knot so fast” later on in the season. I’m excited
This season did have a great vibe to it. I loved seeing Knot So Fast and wouldn't mind seeing it again later on this season. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I’m so stoked about Tyson in this game. I was worried about his attitude towards the show after is comments about production, but he’s great tv. I’m happy nobody quit during the daily. I think we will finally get to see some good gameplay on the challenge again and the first episode ended a lot of my worries about this version of the show. Should be a great season!
I really enjoyed this episode. To me it felt like the challenge just with a different cast. I also like this partner twist because it forces you to work with everyone. If you were to vote someone in and then they win and then become your partner that would be good to see.
I was worried the vibe of The Challenge would be corny since it's on CBS and I know what some editors like to do with BB. But this was a great first episode and got me hyped for next week. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Love James coming to play hard and save him and Shannon. I am now a James stan. Can't wait to see what he can do on the season. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
It really is more fun when there are no vet players IMO. Main Show should take a risk and just cast all new players for a season of the Challenge and let them figure it out.
That’s what Viacom wants to do. The main show is costly with repeat players & their ratings are falling. They will farm out the best from this show until there are no more old cast members. And after 3 years (contract renewal time) repeat & rinse.
I loved Cely's intensity in the elimination. It showed me she can have fun and then get into game mode. I would love to see her back on The Challenge. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I wasn't expecting to like it but I'm excited for this partner twist. A lot of competitors look strong, I would to see some of these players on the main season.
Same. I would like to see a lot of the players on the main season. Cinco is at the top of my list I'd like to see him make the switch to the main season. I think he'd be dominate. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Much better than expected and it is very interesting to see an entire group of people who have never played this game. I screamed when I saw knot so fast lol only wish I have is that they had a few flashbacks.... Perhaps CT in invasion for knot so fast
CT showed that all you really need is to create a stupidly big knot to win the elimination. It saves you your stamina from climbing all over the place and it confuses the opponent as to where the knot starts and where it ends. You can have your rope all over the pyramid in many ways but if you don't have a good knot. You can just pull the whole thing free with minimal effort.
I actually loved this episode! It reminded me of the back in the day challenges from the Original Challenge!! The good ole days with the awesome daily challenges! Plus I know some of the love Island players and I love the Survivor players! I watch Survivor all the time!
I definitely felt that old school vibe as well with a hint of modern Challenge I think as well. It was a good mix on top of having a completely new cast. I came into the first episode being cautiously optimistic but now I'm really looking forward to Wednesday nights. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
It's so refreshing to see all brand new players on "the challenge"... I still love my MTV players, but it's cool to see people from my favorite CBS shows!
I loved Danny on Survivor and I hope he goes far this season. He's great in confessionals and I want to see him in some physical challenges. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
This was EVERYTHING i've been wanting for the main season!!! Sad to see my girl Cely go so soon lmaooo but I'm excited for the partner swap twist & I love that there's actually an incentive to win daily challenges 👏🏽 lets gooo
I too hated seeing Cely leave. I was hoping to see her and Justine make it far into the season together. This season started off with a bang and I can't wait for the next episode. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Is it bad that Im more excited about The Challenge USA than The Challenge 38? This is just the 1st episode and there has been shocks, twists, and almost fainting. Amazing.
I don't think it's bad. I'm looking forward to 38 but I'm pleasantly surprised about how good the first episode was and looking forward to seeing how the season goes. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
10000% agree. I don't think the Challenge could've asked for a better premiere episode than this one. It was so solid. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
going into this season knowing the history of the competitors from their past shows made me appreciate the episode a lot more, especially when they alluded to pending drama in their confessionals. very solid first episode, watch out MTV. 👀
Same. I like The Challenge on MTV, but there is no way I’m going back and watching all of The Real World seasons for those people. Thankfully I watch Survivor, BB, and TAR regularly, so it’s cool to see their storylines continue from those shows already!
@@dayna7401 Well if you wanna watch the seasons with the most people on this season of The Challenge I’d say go with 40 and 41, but if you want seasons that are really good I’d go with: 15, 16, 18, 20, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 37, 40, 42. Some of these are newbie cast seasons, some are all returning player seasons, and some are mixed, but all are really good!
The Challenge moving to CBS this season was huge. They know what they are doing this time around when it comes to marketing and twists. It's a completely new cast to the challenge, but not new to the audience. They are able to pull in a diversity of viewers and I got excited seeing familiar faces and was immediately invested. All of the people are known competitotrs so we know they are legit and the first competition proved that. It's very heavy on Big Brother imo but I love it. This is gonna be a good season - also looking forward to this global challenge comptetion he mentioned that would be exclusively on P+
It does seem The Challenge has learned from past mistakes and have thought through like the format, cast and the editing of the first episode was really solid. I came into the first episode being cautiously optimistic but when it ended I got excited for Wednesday nights. This season should be a lot of fun. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I came into the episode cautiously optimistic. But after this episode I'm looking forward to Wednesday night to see what could happen next. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I loved the first episode as whole the daily challenge was amazing also the elimination but my favorite part was the ending that now each week the competitors will have a different partner. I absolutely love it will take away the certain alliances and have more unpredictably not knowing who is going to go in this is going to shake up the game as we get further and further in the game.💯
I love this format and the possibilities it can bring in the season. I would love to see this format on the main show. That would be so much fun to watch. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I enjoyed the premiere! I loved seeing the different people come together, the strategy going on, and the overall good time. I enjoyed the first daily just for the simple fact that I like doing mental math, and the elimination was also great. I will say the only that bugged me was when Alyssa and DX said "revenge" in terms of the cookout. That's a strong word to use and that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that, I can't wait to see what else is coming!
@@lawtraf8008 I was rolling my eyes with as much as they talked about wanting revenge on the cookout. They got outplayed and they were bitter about not winning. They will probably sabotage themselves with being blinded by this "revenge" plot they have on this season. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Already love this season more with one episode than the entire 60 episode season of spies lies and Allies! I’m obviously not exaggerating I know it wasn’t 60 episodes 🤣
I really like the partner swap & the angle of working with everyone instead of your alliances. This may actually change my mind about watching future episodes.
Okay ngl I was a big hater of the idea of a CBS challenge without any MTV people but…I really loved that premier 😅 I’ve always wanted the main show to do a full rookie season without any vets but always assumed we’d never get it. Watching this episode and seeing the past show dynamics and show rivalries was what I’ve missed from rookies on the main show for the last few seasons, and it made me realize that this is pretty much that. I’m hoping it keeps up the momentum moving forward & to finally see some success for some survivor players! Also: LOVE that we get this show uncensored, wish the main show followed suit
i was skeptical as well but I found myself really enjoying it even though I knew none of these competitors. I don't watch much reality TV other than the challenge and I am happy to see this show expand onto other networks. When I heard one of the competitors say "let's fucking go" i was like omg, they didn't edit it out and then I heard it again and I was like "oh this is uncensored."
@@thanad966 Big shout out to P+ putting up the uncensored edit on the website. I was shocked when rewatching it on Thursday morning hearing all the swear words. Love it. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I was nervous about this spin off since the main show hasn’t been great since WOTW (imo) but I’ve realized that this is exactly what I’ve always wanted, an all rookie season. If mtv did an all rookie seasons these would be the shows they’d cast from anyway
I’m so excited for this season I grew up with Danny. So this season it WILL be personal🤣 i just pray none of my cookout faves have to be moved to my shit list
I love Danny. He was my favorite player on his Survivor season and I am happy he came onto this season. I hope to see him go far. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I thought I wouldn’t like this, but I actually enjoyed that there wasn’t a group of vets targeting all the rookies. (Obviously they’re still trying to start alliances based on shows though)
I think it was bound to happens shows would come in wanting to play together. But with players histories and swapping partners every episodes I feel divisions even in shows will start to form and new alliances will become stronger than just show based. At least I hope. I did have a question: Are you no longer covering The Challenge on your channel anymore? Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
@@AngelcakeVids I had a crazy year with my health, work, and I got married! So I took some extended time off. Not sure if I’ll get back into The Challenge videos specifically because they’re so much work and I really enjoy watching yours 🤣 I still watch every episode of the show!
I thought this season was gonna be whaaaack but man, was I wrong! They actually came to compete and it was actually interesting to watch. Seeing the different kinds of gameplay at work from the shows is cool too. I'm actually excited to see how the season unfolds. Great review as always!!
I had the same thought. I came into the first episode cautiously optimistic. I was actually more nervous about the edit they'd give this show. Following BB every week I was worried they'd make it a bit corny like BB is. But they did a great job and I'm pretty excited to see what happens next episode. Thank you for watching and commenting! I was very surprised and actually quite enjoyed this!! I love Kyland and Azah!! I watched their BB season and loved them then too. I was so glad to see them come back and i hope Kyland makes it far!! I like the set up of the eliminations and how it forces everyone to get a new partner. I was also so glad to see knot so fast be played! An OG and iconic elimination!
Knot So Fast I think is my favorite elimination in Challenge history. It tests endurance, strength and strategy. I mean what more could you ask for. I really liked this episode and I hope all the twists keep the season super fun, exciting and unpredictable. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I am a huuuge challenge fan and have been for over 10 years but I'm m not gonna lie, I was very hesitant about this show since they dont allow original challengers. However, I think the episode was really good. I am loving Tyson and James. I think this season will be different because there will be more complicated game play and strategy. Getting excited.
Tyson's commentary is incredible. I love him so much. I'm excited for Wednesday nights because like you said I was cautious going into this season. And this premiere was so good. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I'm say I love this show. USA content looks better than the original. The cast is wonderful. I'm a survivor fan so I'm going for one of them to win or amazing race. I'm glad to see new faces competition with other shows. This is going to be exciting. Thank you for making the challenge fresh again. This will be a great treat for us to see...... well done..
I have a ton of confidence in Survivor players. I love an underdog story and hope Amazing Race trio will make it far. Big Brother seems to have a ton of problems and will be the most divided amongst the rest of the shows. We'll see how it goes. Can't wait for Wednesday's episode. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
So far I think this is better than the main show but of course I can change as the week's go. Format is great, cast is great, love the changing teams and player banks. Really impressed, I kind of expected a half assed show thrown together
I’m so mixed on the love island cast. They surprised me in the daily challenge for sure no one quit which people from the main cast or all stars might have.I want to blame the edit for the party scene but I saw that and maybe I was right they aren’t taking this super seriously. Overall great start and better than I expected
True, the party scene where everybody is politicking, building relationships and then they are over there drinking and shaking their asses was kind of disappointing a bit because I love the Love island people. They need to wake up and put their heads in the game before they all got sent home. Survivor and Big brother have been in the game from the get go, they are playing a strong game, their shows kind of prepared them for it. The amazing race people also seem quite but know exactly what they're doing. This season looks very promising
@@lawtraf8008 couldn’t agree more with you the partners twist is such a good one on top of it all. I think Kyra out of all the love island people has the best chance. Just what I saw of her on ex on the beach she’s level headed and seems pretty in shape. But I was pleasantly surprised in the elimination from the love island people their sportsmanship beforehand was a little crap but they put in serious work. And again none of them quit on the skyscraper challenge which I was absolutely expecting
The partner swap is good, but they ruin it with the dumb 'algorithm'. I don't believe for a second that it's actually random and not the producers simply picking who they think will bring the most drama. They should have implemented it by having the players pick something randomly like colored rocks or something to make the audience believe that it's really random.
What a nice surprise. 😁 Cane online planning on watching shorts to kill my boredom and here this is. 👏🏻👏🏻 As a Brit I won’t know any of these people but I’m still excited. 😂😂
I'm so happy you were able to find the channel and came across this video. I hope you enjoyed it. This first episode got me hyped on this season and I'm looking forward to the next episode. If you have any questions about the cast or how any of the people did on their original shows you can ask me or I have a video going over the cast and their placements on their original shows. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I don’t know anyone cause I don’t watch any of these shows and it’s refreshing. New people to like and become fans of. And no vets. No one really has a one up on the other. You can watch all you want but until you’re there you just don’t know and I love that
I think $5,000 is too much to give for winning a daily if you need $5,000 for the final. I think it should have been $3,000 that way they would have to win again or go into elimination. I don't like floaters. I agree with you that this was a good challenge to start with, simple but can get the competitors flustered if they don't take their time. I am a huge fan of Knot so fast, so I am happy to see that was the first elimination.
I agree, $5,000 is too much. But I was thinking once people start leaving and time starts to run out ppl with the most money maybe targets for a player who needs more 💴 to get into TJ’s final may want to take a shot at someone with a big account to ensure their ticket to the final.
I love the seasons where they incentive going into eliminations! It definitely gets a little tiresome when Wes and Jordan are the only people on a season not intimidating by the sheer idea. So this is awesome.
There's incentive to win dailies, not come in last place and to go in the elimination. This is legit a great format for the season. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
@@AngelcakeVids i like that part too but, when you need a certain amount of $$ to get to the final, i would consider going to an elimenation an incentive when you get to take the losers money.
I was afraid I wouldn’t enjoy this since I know none of the players but so far it’s been a pleasant surprise. I really love the partner switch idea! I definitely would love to see that implemented in other versions of The Challenge.
Honestly judying of the first episode this season of the challenge might be one of the best ones Seeing that all challengers are newcomers makes me excited to see how they will play it differently compared to the mtv’s the challengers. I’m psyched
I love the fact that they’ll have to win a challenge in order to qualify for the final Finally no more riding alliances, YES!! Can’t they just do this for the main season too?!
I haven't seen any of these people's original shows. I actually was borderline on even watching this season because of that but I just watched it today. I actually really enjoyed this episode a lot more than I thought I would.
Loved your breakdown of the episode! After you talked about the elimination I was thinking I would love a Video from you about some classic eliminations and how to win them with some examples from the past seasons :)
That's a great idea. I would have to check out some eliminations that have been reoccuring over the show and dive deep into everyone who has played them. Thank you for watching and the video suggestion. I really appreciate it!
It's smart that if they are going to have. A lot of people that challenge watchers aren't used to that they have familiar eliminations. I can't wait for some pole wrestles.
I actually thought Cely got the strategy down towards the end. I think if they had that plan going into the elimination and made sure to take all the slack out as they were going along they would've gotten the win. That's just my opinion. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I was looking forward to your recap and view on the premiere. You’re soo right the premiere episode was captivating and good. I was actually hooked and happy to see many faces I liked. Even though I was gutted to see Javonny & Cely leave soo early, I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.
I'm happy you liked the review and my opinion. I was sad to see Cely go so early. I loved her and Justine's friendship and wanted to see it longer on the season. Also her tenacity and leadership in the elimination made me want to see more of Cely on The Challenge. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I really like the episode and it made me like some new people like James and Shannon rebuild my like of Alyssa with her actually making a move in the game and then this partner swap twist which this spinoff will be great
No one quit the daily! No whining or whimpering. Just competitors showing up to fight. That’s all I really want, so I’m excited. And seeing TJ actually proud of the challengers…🥰
Love no one complained or quit. Everyone came to play and did just that. Love to see it. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Wow wow wow I’m shocked with how much I liked this new challenge! I haven’t been happy with the original challenge on MTV ever since war of the worlds 2 I feel it truly fell off after that this new challenge USA is a breath of fresh air! Many are thinking strategically and long term. I love the survivor guy that one the first challenge his game play and energy reminds me of Jordan from the main challenge! Looking forward to this season!
I see love islanders and amazing racers being chased like rookies in the challenge 37. If they don't win daily challenges and play strategically there is no way to escape
I'm hoping they can win soon to take some shots early on to give them a better chance on the season. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
@@AngelcakeVids I hope too because I really want to see them shaking this game. Thanks you for making a great content for the challenge and other reality shows fans
The season is gonna be so good! I was thinking with switching the partners a good way to get rid of a competitor is when they are paired with a weaker competitor, that would be the best time to take a swing at them.
This partner switch really tests everyone's social game and who really is at the top of their alliances because as you said, if say a player is put with a "weaker" player. Will players jump at the opportunity to take the shot? I think that'll be super fun to see if that's the strategy movie forward. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I love the partner swap of the season but I don’t think it’s by chance. I think the swap is controlled by the producers for drama purposes, so most likely Cashay and Cinco will be paired with each other soon.
Excellent episode. I didn't even expect this. The cast is pretty stacked, and all the players came to play, and I didn't even want to compare this season to any old other season seriously pretty happy with the outcome. Tyson was the only one I was excited about, to be honest, and he showed, but all these people looked terrific for the show. Xavier, Tiffany, James, Derek, Desi, Danny, Shan, Justine, Sarah Aly, angela, azha, Leo, kyland, Yvonne, and Enzo Everybody was shining. Maybe they have played survivor, BB, LI, and AR but still editing sync. Even though the task was okay, these guys just gave their everything. I can't believe this. They all are doing their first challenge, especially "Tyson." Confessionals
I was surprised that Kyland and Azah teamed up, they didn’t along too much on BB. Plus Kyland knows that she’s not a really good competitor. BUT Kyland did say he watched the last 10 seasons so maybe he had a hunch they wouldn’t be partners the whole game. But good job by Azah & Kyland for not giving up. I agree, I impressed with some of the challenges that are familiar with the actual the challenge show. I’m super excited for the season.

They really need to do the partner swap for the main season so it is harder for alliances to steam roll through the game.
Tayson pair would have won every challenge that probably why they did that because that pair was to strong
@@gregoryfuller9736 Just because they performed well on that particular challenge doesn’t mean they were going to steam roll every challenge. Lol

Yes, I loved that everyone went down the skyscraper. I'm tired of the crying and tapping out because they feel comfortable in the game.
I know a lot of people don't like rookie casts, but it's time to let go of some of the current challengers (permanently or to all stars) and let new challenges take up the show
to me rookie casts are way more interesting since these people don't always know what to expect from the show or what to do
I 100% agree. The vets and their huge alliance makes the flagship show boring and predictable. And many of them are arrogant for no reason (Tori, Fessy, etc).
@@ms.bubs4fun506 And the whole 'oh you're a rookie prove yourself' when some vets have done jackshit themselves
I’ve never watched any of the cbs shows, but I love the all rookie cast
I watch all of these shows except Love Island so I agree! A lot of people having concerns about the cast should watch their original seasons
I’m praying Enzo does really well too
And even the losing team didn’t quit! No crying or whimpering! We might actually get a strong female challenger out of this!
Last place should go to elimination all the time in my opinion
@@alexoliveras2947 100% I was getting tired of ppl throwing challenges in the name of strategy, as had been happening in the last couple of seasons
I was actually, really impressed by this episode. My expectations weren’t high but it was great.
Same. I came in cautiously optimistic and was pleasantly surprised. Very much looking forward to Wednesday nights. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
That's why shows like survivor and Big brother thrive! They cast new people every season
Good premier.. obviously really long to get though this big cast... But damn the 'algorithm' twist was not expected so it makes it harder to predict.
Solid first episode! Definitely looking forward to the rest of the season! The Survivor women look STRONG AF!!
Also, I love the partner switch up!!!
Cory, I cant speak for love island but on survivor and bb..quitters are highly despised by the fanbase..maybe that is why no one quit
Did you see how happy TJ was? People were actually competing, and he was thrilled.
Stoked to see James (and Shannon) make that move to save himself! I think he could be a dark horse.
I love seeing you in these comments 😭❤
That’s what Viacom wants to do. The main show is costly with repeat players & their ratings are falling. They will farm out the best from this show until there are no more old cast members. And after 3 years (contract renewal time) repeat & rinse.
The number one rule… act like you wanna be there day 1😂😂😂😂
I want cely and javonnie to come back their goofy type personality is refreshing in this game
I loved Cely's intensity in the elimination. It showed me she can have fun and then get into game mode. I would love to see her back on The Challenge. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
This first episode was better then every episode of spies lies and allies combined
If this on the same level of enjoyment as all stars, bring it on.
@@AngelcakeVids same! I can’t wait for Wednesday! Is it always going to be an hour and a half episode or was it just for the first one?
I'm just happy to see so many of my melanin folks on the challenge 👏🏾
If Uncle CT taught me anything it’s how to tie a knot😅😭
LOL I love this comment so much. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
It's so refreshing to see all brand new players on "the challenge"... I still love my MTV players, but it's cool to see people from my favorite CBS shows!
I love it when I finish watching the episode, hop on RUclips and bam! Your video is waiting for me!
Thank you so much. I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I’m rooting for Danny! Hope he does well 🙏🏾
I loved Danny on Survivor and I hope he goes far this season.
James could be a political force but Survivor players know that those are the most dangerous players.
I had to smile at the end when TJ explained the pairings board. Great idea.
The best opening episode in a long time. I love all the cast members and that twist. The twist can stop/slow down the mega alliances.
Really?! Do you suggest any certain seasons of Survivor?
@@dayna7401season 40 (the all winners seasons, which includes sarah, ben, and tyson) and season 41 (shan and danny).
@@roundjuan thanks!
Had low expectations but actually really enjoyed it!!
Alyssa and DX are clowns, hope they get sent home, especially Alyssa. She seems to really hold a grudge
Can't wait till next episode. Team Angela soo far.
Already love this season more with one episode than the entire 60 episode season of spies lies and Allies!
I’m obviously not exaggerating I know it wasn’t 60 episodes 🤣
I mean it felt like 60 episodes the way the season drug out. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I loved Shannon in this premier. She is funny in a natural way. Is she this season's confessional queen?
Im a MASSIVE survivor fan but Shannon and James STOLE the episode and I’m here for it
This episode amazing. I like the simple format. I want it to say relatively simple so we can just see the raw drama from these rookie Challengers.
The format is amazing. I love it so much. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I liked it! I know none of these people but I’m looking forward to seeing new blood!
I’m so excited for this season I grew up with Danny. So this season it WILL be personal🤣 i just pray none of my cookout faves have to be moved to my shit list

i enjoyed the episode more than i expected tbh going to be an interesting season
Was not expecting that ending at all. Also can’t understand how the last place team is still in after all that.
They won the elimination.
I'm glad to see new faces competition with other shows. This is going to be exciting. Thank you for making the challenge fresh again. This will be a great treat for us to see...... well done..
I have a ton of confidence in Survivor players. I love an underdog story and hope Amazing Race trio will make it far.

Awesome cast, so hype for this season and the future of the challenge as a whole

As much as I love Big Brother, I’m high key bummed that Cely and Justine got split up. They’re the one thing I loved about Love Island.
Agreed! I was so hoping that they were not going to bring the tired Cash and Cinco drama, but I guess I was wrong 😑
I feel that this show will get good and I hope they add more twists in this game
Just not too many twists. Reality competition shows sometimes go overboard with the twists.
It's smart that if they are going to have. A lot of people that challenge watchers aren't used to that they have familiar eliminations. I can't wait for some pole wrestles.
This season feels like when all you friends from different points of your life are meeting. It’s strange but cool!
I love this analogy. I totally get what you mean lol Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I was waiting for the tiny table talk :(
I guess I would imagine what you would say jajaja😂
Both teams did a terrible job "knotting" the rope, but any real fan should have known that Kyland & Azah were going to win due to the techniques.
Of course it's not random. Production got their hands on it
Wish they did this daily in MTV challenge. How many times would they have to run back up with all those MTV math wizards?
Excellent episode. I didn't even expect this. The cast is pretty stacked, and all the players came to play, and I didn't even want to compare this season to any old other season seriously pretty happy with the outcome. Tyson was the only one I was excited about, to be honest, and he showed, but all these people looked terrific for the show.
Xavier, Tiffany, James, Derek, Desi, Danny, Shan, Justine, Sarah
Aly, angela, azha, Leo, kyland, Yvonne, and Enzo
Everybody was shining. Maybe they have played survivor, BB, LI, and AR but still editing sync. Even though the task was okay, these guys just gave their everything. I can't believe this. They all are doing their first challenge, especially "Tyson."
Confessionals
I was surprised that Kyland and Azah teamed up, they didn’t along too much on BB. Plus Kyland knows that she’s not a really good competitor. BUT Kyland did say he watched the last 10 seasons so maybe he had a hunch they wouldn’t be partners the whole game. But good job by Azah & Kyland for not giving up. I agree, I impressed with some of the challenges that are familiar with the actual the challenge show. I’m super excited for the season.
