Here I have made a video on Fender Champion 20...I have showed all the amp voices and effects that you get on this amp.. I hope you all find it useful..
Hi Vishal, I have been a pure acoustic guitar intermediate player for many years now! I love playing acoustic guitar since it is pure sound for me. My question is: I am planning to buy a Line 6 Spider IV 75W Spider Guitar Amplifier. Will this amp be good for practice and performance for/on my acoustic guitar? Please advise. Thanks.
I just got this amp and my first guitar for Christmas. I'm brand new at all of this and I'm still figuring it all out, but I love it and I'm very happy with the amp.
Hello Vishal! I'm from Assam. Please spare me two mins. I bought the fender champion amp yesterday. At low vol and low gain there is always a noise coming in. When I touch the guitar strings the noise is gone. Is this natural or there might be some defect in the guitar or the amp? The power cord of the amp consists of 2 pin. I think that the problem might be due to the lack of earthing point in the power cord. If I replace it with a 3 pin cable, will it solve the issue? Hope you help me solve this:)
the same problem is there on my unit too if you call it a problm .... If the hum is not loud and annoying i wouldn''t suggest you to change anything on the plug..I consider it natural.. even if the amp itself had no ground wire, there must be grounding happening in the nearby outlet you are drawing current from.... and guitars are usually designed that way so when the player touch the bridge/strings the ground loop gets completed and the hum goes away, thats why you will see a wire connected to the bridge if you look inside the guitar... But I am no Expert....I havent change the chord on my amp.. however, since the power cord is removable, you can experiment with a 3 prong plug cable and see if the noise goes away...Even if the noise stays the same, I think 3 prongs are safer than 2 prong plugs... Hope i could help and let me know what you decided to do and what are the results... cheers! 😊
@@vishalbhowmikmusic thanks vishal. When i switch to position 2 and 4 pickup on my strat then also the noise remains. The noise should have been reduced as the pickups are now hum cancelling ones. But still it's the same as that coming on position 1, 3 and 5. Is this due to the grounding issue of the amp or there might be some defect in my guitar?
@@dipjyoti_guitar mine is a humbucker guitar and it still has some hum on high gain tones and as soon as i touch the strings it gets reduced.. its a natural thing dont worry about it too much if its not too much loud even when you are playing... touching the strings should reduce the hum... and yeah low cost entry level guitars tend to have more hum as they dont have shielding in pick up cavities, pickups are not wax potted and also because of cheap components... As you mentioned, touching the strings reduces the hum greatly, if thats the case, its fine... don't worry about it... 😊
Great demo. Better than most of the demos on RUclips. I just ordered this amp. Seems like a really versatile amp for the price. Lots of cool tones and the distortion seems pretty good for blues rock and heavy metal. And as it's a solid state amp it will have no problem with pedals I think.
Thanks alot mate.... I really appreciate feedback as it will help this channel to grow.... and also about pedals ...i m not sure how this amp will react to pedals... but if i get my hands on some gear such as pedals i will definately make a video about that ...cheers!
@Guitar T he said for beginners....better option would be the champion20...what if he doesn't like fender tone???...(how not to like???)...furthermore, champion20 can emulate different ampli voices...tweed, blackface, bassman, british (probably vox) so he, as a beginner, could construct an idea about the sounds he likes...princetone is a dear amp, to be bought by someone who already knows what he wants
If you want stereo sound then go for blacksar id core 20.. Thats the distinguishing feature of that amp..it sounds nice too. Also you can have 3 effects simultaneously on in id core... Apart from that its more hi-fi sounding.. it has small speakers but its latest.. But if you want big 8 inch speaker and kinda want analog type sound which guitarists love, than you can go for fender champion 20.. it aslo has effects and there's a settings where you can have both reverb and delay simulaneously on aslo..Which is great.. and it sounds better with pedals and its louder too in my opinion for same wattage. hope that helps.. You can go for any of those and it will serve you well...you can go to a shop and try them out for yourself... If i had the oppurtunity i would have loved to compare them for you guys.. but sadly i cant get my hands on blackstar id core 20.. Thanks brother ..keep rocking :)
Bro, which riff did you play around 7:24 mark when switching to the metal overdrive section? Sounded really thick and groovy. Something by Sabbath? Deep Purple? or Monster Magnet? Can't really recognize but I think I've heard it before.
you will be shocked and find it funny as well.. This riff is from a Heavy Blues Ballad named "the ballad of John Henry' by Joe Bonamassa.... I played a blues riff to demonstrate a metal tone..and hope it still sounded fine...That goes to show Tone is Subjective.....
Vishal Bhowmik Oh, I'm familiar with Joe Bonamassa. He plays in the hard rock supergroup Black Country Communion, right? I've yet to check out his solo albums though. And yes, you're right. And I mean metal is basically overdriven blues. Early proto-metal/heavy rock like Blue Cheer and Lucifer's Friend or even Hendrix I must say all were rooted in blues and psychedelia. Even Black Sabbath considered themselves heavy blues rock until the term heavy metal was coined. And I like that bluesy metal/stoner rock tone the most than other sort hybrids and more extreme side of the music. Anyway, you play really good and it's always nice to come across a fellow Bengali guitar player. 😉
Ok so looking for a full breakdown of this amp. Any leads? I’m a new player, amp came with Ibanez GIO. I don’t understand all the different sounds and options.
Naufal Alavi that’s a nice guitar, much better than mine. You will be able to pull way better sounds out of it. Mine is just a double humbucker with a crappy bridge (sits too far back and hard on my shoulder)
I have a Fender champion 20, and it's the best practice amp that I have ever owned.
I am thoroughly enjoying this amp too ...

This is 240v right?
no idea.. but in your country you will get compatible power adapter with it to support the voltage rating there 😊
This amp or blackstar id core ?
Is reverb facility there?
Yes reverb is there
So i can see that the power cable is 2 Pin. Do you use any adapter or converter to ground the amp?
I just use the included power adapter which comes in the box..
For beginners fender champion or blackstar Id core.?
Blackstar is best at metal. But not that good at others.

@Guitar T thats fantastic... may be someday i will be able to buy that if my channel grows well ..lol

a fender champion 20 and a jackson guitar we're in same choice brother .
that's great brother... such a pleasant coincidence... I am sure you are enjoying playing those, as i am having a blast as well..

Thanks a lot friend for the feedback... Cheers!
@Jeremy Belzunces Thats the opening riff from "Just Got Paid" by Billy Gibbons.. Joe Bonamassa has covered that too
I have this little beast. And it is a great practice amp. You can't beat it for $ 100.00 bucks.
true that :)
Nice to hear some good guitar after a long time..keep it up🤘
thanks man
Ok so looking for a full breakdown of this amp. Any leads? I’m a new player, amp came with Ibanez GIO. I don’t understand all the different sounds and options.
man in black Which GIO model is it?
Naufal Alavi GS140400513. If that helps, I don’t know much about this guitar aside from Ibanez put good equipment in a cheap guitar.
Naufal Alavi I looked, can’t find a GS 140.... model
I wanted to know because I’m also getting a Fender Champ 20 with an Ibanez GIO series but that is a GRX70QAL
Naufal Alavi that’s a nice guitar, much better than mine. You will be able to pull way better sounds out of it. Mine is just a double humbucker with a crappy bridge (sits too far back and hard on my shoulder)
Bro how is the esp Ltd Mt 130
Bro I havent Played it.. So cant say if its good or not..
thanks for the demo!
I am Glad you liked it :)
