All that old iron just keeps running...so cool. Taking a day off to work on the farm....sounds very familiar as that's how I spend my vacation time too. Who needs Disney when you have tractors?!!
If a paint rep is reading this, it would be awesome of you to throw a bunch of gallons of paint Evan and Rebecca's way for the animal barn and the old pole structure on the property... Country Views Acres deserves a pretty barn... Thanks on behalf of all of the viewers... (Sorry to be signing you up for work, but it would be Awesome content)
Evan, I would have put the tractor in the shop, straight away. That way, if you get ant free time😊you can get a small start on that project. Best wishes from the far North.
Evan, at about 6:00 it appears the tedder pto is in the dirt. Maybe you can put it on a brick, block or something. Maybe swing it to the other side? I enjoy your channel very much. Brings back memories. Bill in OK
Put your trailers up on blocks out in the field. That will save your tires. Just high enough to spin your tires freely and the blocks under the axle rod.
Those old tractor’s. Just keep on keeping on. And people want to know why you don’t get rid of them. The pigs just walked right on in there ,no trouble. Or if they gave you trouble you didn’t show us. I hope you have a mild winter. Are you expecting any baby goats this winter " ? God bless you all ,and stay warm.
I hang my extension ladders on rope and pulleys from the ceiling or high up on a wall to get them out of the way but make them quickly and easily accessible. You could also hang them up high in the tractor shed.
I use 15/40 all fleet oil in my tractors. With trickle charge on tractor battery add distilled water to cells monthly.some acid will gas off.don’t use any other type of water in battery
That TYM Tractor has really been a workhorse and a major blessing ... And those piggies ... always thinking with their taste buds! :-) And I'm always astonished at how big that Case is. We LIKE the extra videos, Evan! Thank you ever so much.
Love the Allis Chalmers we still farm 600 plus acres with ours very dependable tractors and parts are still available through AGCO if we need them. I am planning on painting my 8050 this winter, looks like shop work for both of us.
There are block heaters that go in some of the freeze plugs on tractors. They maybe available for the Case tractors. As I recall for my Massey, very inexpensive and really aids in cold weather starting.
Cog Hill Farm give animal crackers as a treat. They keep giant barrels of them in a weather resistant barrel outside of the pens... Of course, they don't have cattle and the only pig they have is a pot belly named Peaches.
Evan, You probably know this already, but on anything that may be flooded, the best thing to do is, wide open throttle, no choke and keep cranking, within reason. A lighter weight oil would be a huge help as you mentioned. Great video, pleasure to watch and a huge thumbs up !
The lake is smooth as glass. The pigs sure are friendly and cooperative. The TMY is a beast. It is versatile., a real game changer. I was rooting for the Chase tractor. 👏.You have accomplished a lot. today. A place for everything and everything in it's place. Thanks for taking us along. Oh, by the way, you have something on your face.😄
Diesel fuel will also gel up in the cold, so you might want to use a stabilizer that also is anti gel. Some sort of a block heater would also help tremendously.
Tiz that time. Time to organize, clean up and winterize for sure. Personally cold weather and me don't get along too well so my winter outings will be limited to the havetos for the most part. Another great video thanks Evan.
We don't get the cold, cold weather we used to down here in north Florida. I remember a 19-degree all day here in northeast Florida and a 13-degree day out in the panhandle back in the late '60s. Snow on Christmas eve and day, I think in 1989 ... but a lot warmer since that ...
Great video as usual Evan ! Thank you all for sharing your journey with us ! Try some starting fluid on that diesel engine , if you haven't already !! Be safe and God bless you all !!!!! Eddy
Glad you got everything rearrange! I hate to see all your equipment out in the weather! Can't you use the other old barn to put equipment in! God bless you and your family!
Evan, you have your priorities in order and everything is looking good for the winter months and that new pole barn will be really good to work in when it is cold outside.
I really enjoyed this video. I enjoy most all of your videos 😂 This one is going into my personal playlist of your channel that I made. Take care, Joanna Corpus Christi TX
Good morning Evan, thanks for sharing your barnyard shuffle, it actually keeps things looking better and they don’t get overgrown and misplaced. You keep things looking good around there for sure. Glad you got the pigs out for processing, it will be great to see you putting them in a freezer. Thanks for sharing with us, Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻✋🏻✋🏻
How are you Kevin we’re part of the United States you’ve been living because I like you place and look like so green here in New Mexico still dry No to much rain I like over there four racing the karrle
Hi Evan, great video as usual. Have you given any thought to storing the ramp and the two sides inside the animal trailer? Then you would have everything right there - where and when you needed them, and the ramp and sides wouldn’t get in the way of anything and you wouldn’t have to move things all over the place.
I'm sure your probably familiar with Arm's Family Homestead , he just got a tractor the same kind as your new and he seems to be enjoying it. I kept telling you that there was something on your face but you weren't listening 😂
Since you follow Greg Judy anyway, you might want to review the stuff he does to protect the soil around his watering stations to prevent the cattle from messing up the soil like that.
Yeah, he usually builds a gravel pad big enough for the whole cow to stand on around the water tank. Places big timbers around it to hold the gravel in place.
Or he simply sets up a basin with some old tractor tire sidewalls around it; something for the cattle to stand on without pugging up the ground around it.
I've been a meat cutter for 40 years. If you know anyone who knows butchering you might wanna get them to help you next season. Or at least get some info from them. It's easy if you have the knowledge. A chine saw and industrial grinder would be handy too. Thanks for the video. 🇺🇸
After struggling with an old John Deere diesel tractor for years to get it started in Kansas winter, I evolved a process using a dipstick heater (about $40 now), and a shot of starting fluid with high ether content into the air cleaner intake. It started right up even on the most frigid mornings.
I think I would try to put that wagon in the old building that used to be your shop. I hate seeing equipment sitting out in the weather when you have a building.
@@BearMeat4Dinner wow, lots of folks from here go to Florida for the winter and those who stay can't wait for the cold weather and snow to start so as to get up in the backcountry on sled. We want the 22F and less to happen here now just to freeze up the brooks, ponds and lakes before the snow starts falling. On a good winter we sometimes dip to -13F to -15F but not for long periods.
Check the timing and ignition components on the Allis. It should definitely start a lot easier than that. Also wouldn't hurt to pull the plugs and "read" them; you can tell a lot about the engine by the plugs.
It's been close to 70 the past couple days here in West Virginia, but I went out earlier and theres a cool wind blowing out of the north. I've been putting up firewood and cleaning up around my place prepared to hunker down through the winter.
Hello from the Netherlands . if you want to start the old tractors in cold or colder weather, put a hairdryer in the air intake, especially with a diesel engine, this helps very well. Sincerely Hollandduck from the Netherlands
I can say this a family i no used Nothing but case Tractors From 1930s to 1970s I worked for them when I was in high school and I can tell you the old 870 case D did not like the cold weather had to use starting fuild his dad did not like that so he put a block heater on it and we are talking like 35 out side
Put some scrap wood under the gates to raise them off the dirt
Evan put your blade close for winter . like the video .
Look how your pigs 🐖 clean up the area they are in.
All that old iron just keeps running...so cool. Taking a day off to work on the farm....sounds very familiar as that's how I spend my vacation time too. Who needs Disney when you have tractors?!!
Much agreed and I'm just a tractor-wanta-have!
You and Pete love the old tractors. Thanks for the video
What a good idea. Clean up is always good. Just like spring cleaning. 👍👍🙂
So glad that to have all the videos! One of my favorite channels.
Good morning from Piqua Ohio
Tarp your trailers, waste some spray paint on your other outside equipment. Tractor crack helps, ie starting fluid.
If a paint rep is reading this, it would be awesome of you to throw a bunch of gallons of paint Evan and Rebecca's way for the animal barn and the old pole structure on the property...
Country Views Acres deserves a pretty barn... Thanks on behalf of all of the viewers...

Get a magnet heater for the oil pan to preheat the oil
Those turkeys provide the soundtrack for your day!😄
Evan..please take us along when you clean up the garden👍
Those turkeys must really like you , they follow you everywhere . I think you and Rebecca have the most beautiful homestead on RUclips !
🎵"Say good bye to the ones that we love..."🎵
Thanks a lot for the video!
Always have to winterize when you live where it snows, freezes. I remember those days from living in the mid west. Job well done.
Good to have things put away and tidy.
Good morning 🌞 from Chandler AZ, love your videos.Have a blessed day and be SAFE my friend.🚜👍👏💯
I always love to watch this video.

Put your trailers up on blocks out in the field. That will save your tires. Just high enough to spin your tires freely and the blocks under the axle rod.
even a couple of cheap engine oil dip stick heaters will help with the cranking on the tractors.
Yes, the pig loading went smooth. We just paired up the goats for breeding. We expect baby around april
Have a good day.
The pigs seem to have done a good job turning the soil in their area this year!
Subtlety took the pigs to freezer land. Well done. I agree with putting the Chalmers straight into the pole barn. That's an excellent idea.
I don't know anything, but remember my Dad saying they use to "warm the crank case" when weather was cold to help starting.
I don’t like cold weather! Thanks for bringing us along!
😄😄😄😄Something on your face... keeping it real Evan! ;) Watching from NZ - !!
Block heaters and a rad hose heater work great
I'm surprised you don't store the ramp in the horse trailer.
Keep them videos coming
Get a can of quick start for your case tractor. Spray in the intake as you try to start
I hang my extension ladders on rope and pulleys from the ceiling or high up on a wall to get them out of the way but make them quickly and easily accessible. You could also hang them up high in the tractor shed.
It's called Starting Fluid, buy some.
I use 15/40 all fleet oil in my tractors. With trickle charge on tractor battery add distilled water to cells monthly.some acid will gas off.don’t use any other type of water in battery
Man such a Beutiful farm
FYI they make magnetic oil pan heaters & dipstick heaters.
Gravel no bueno for the hooves.
🙂✌❤
Great job!
What about a greenhouse build for next year ? Fresh veggies longer, 😄
That TYM Tractor has really been a workhorse and a major blessing ... And those piggies ... always thinking with their taste buds! :-) And I'm always astonished at how big that Case is. We LIKE the extra videos, Evan! Thank you ever so much.
You might be able to get a heated dipsticks for the tractors.
You my try getting a oil heating dip stick for your tractor’s. Then you can just plug them in the night before you are going to use them.
great video
Good morning from Las Vegas

This may sound odd but I love watching you work. You make it seem easy, I know its not. Thank-you.
There are block heaters that go in some of the freeze plugs on tractors. They maybe available for the Case tractors. As I recall for my Massey, very inexpensive and really aids in cold weather starting.
All nice and neat, winter ready. Great to have regular videos back. God Bless you both
Cog Hill Farm give animal crackers as a treat. They keep giant barrels of them in a weather resistant barrel outside of the pens...
Of course, they don't have cattle and the only pig they have is a pot belly named Peaches.
Try putting a battery boost on before starting.
Your starter sounds a litter slow.
Might have it cleaned and checked.
good morning from NORTH CAROLINA a little starting fluid will help, just a little
Evan, You probably know this already, but on anything that may be flooded, the best thing to do is, wide open throttle, no choke and keep cranking, within reason. A lighter weight oil would be a huge help as you mentioned. Great video, pleasure to watch and a huge thumbs up !
they have these little solar panels you can plug the batteries in them to keep them charged toped up

Yes, I add diesel stabilizer as well.
Thanks for sharing content like this. Always useful to compare notes on how we get ready for winter!

Buy a magnetic heater to stick on oil pan, I did and that helped immensely.
You're right, they work awesome.
Good morning Evan. Beautiful day in the neighborhood. Love the turkeys

In cold weather you might want to use a battery pack. Enjoying the channel. Tks for sharing.
Just keep on turning the old tractors diesels start on heat so more turning = heat which makes them start
I really enjoyed this video. I enjoy most all of your videos 😂 This one is going into my personal playlist of your channel that I made.

Tractors will last forever when taken care of. Keeping them out of the weather is number one. How much did your pigs weigh? Have a blessed day🙂
Thx

I'm sure your probably familiar with Arm's Family Homestead , he just got a tractor the same kind as your new and he seems to be enjoying it. I kept telling you that there was something on your face but you weren't listening 😂
Oil is fine for your weather. Look into a gear reduction starter. They will change your life.
Evan, use ethanol free gas. As ethanol attracts water.
Always enjoy your videos.

Good morning Evan ☀️
You might want to clean the grass and debris off your equipment to prevent rust.

You folks down south ( of Newfoundland Can ) have it colder than us lol. It hasn't gotten below 0°C ( 32°F ) here yet...

You should definitely clean off the trailer beds before leaving them to set out iñ weather to keep them rotting so bad..and quickly
I got the poo on me! ( said in the classic David spade character Joe Dirt)
