were you using gas in the welding on this video? What is the general cont for this welder, there is one on craigs list says,
T-140 Hobart mig welder never hooked up to gas same as new with welding cart.
He wants $400.00. It is a pretty good haul though.
I guess the gages don't come with it.

he is too far, it's about 3 hours one way, I'd be looking at about $60.00 in gas round trip in the pig I drive. a new one at tractor supply is $500.00. Looks like it comes with the gages. How much is a gas bottle and to fill it up[?

I purchased one on Ebay from Northerntool about 6 months ago I paid $500 shipped with everything but the bottle of course. Northerntool sells the Hobart 140 for $489.99 shipped now. My local welder supply charges $299 for a 131 cubic foot bottle and $40 to fill it.

anthony diodati You can always use a smaller bottle and fill it more often. Or, in my town you can "lease" the tank for $50/yr but is $70 to fill.

Impressive features like … a settings chart (like every other mig welder), you can actually hook it up to gas (like every other mig welder) and it starts a weld (like every other mig welder. Ahh, the early days of RUclips … priceless.

It would be nice to be able to see your welds. You might want to invest in a camera man and get rid of them damn BANNERS that are always in the way.

Lincoln, Miller... best in the business.. Hobart? it's good for the price.. but on a professional level. it's all about Lincoln.. and Miller is good as well. but when u are in the structural steel industry u will see Lincoln more than any other brands.. but u won't see Hobart.. Hobart is for small business or private fabrication use
is Hobart good? yes. but for a personal hobbyist or all business owner not a serious steel welding structural type business
you gotta keep it real bruh.. that's the truth....
but hoabrt has good quality for a small business owner private hobbyist.. absolutely...

@@mikeratkowski3506 if u go to any job site in Southern California its either Lincoln or Miller.... construction or pipeline
Structural whatever. Even nk in Autoshops I see Miller and Lincoln.. those are the most used brands I've seen in the industry.. at welding school we had Miller.
