- Found on the sublime world of Hathrile XIII in the Koskjoll system, King's Beach Palace is a spacious multilevel location of transcendent comfort and understated opulence. The rare tiny islands in the calm green waters of this unequaled paradise are owned outright and in perpetuity by his royal highness Emperor Anant Raj of Ketaga and the highly secure location is off limits to all travelers except those lucky enough to have admittance by royal invitation. The dwelling is sometimes used by ambassadors for informal meetings. In fact, the treaty of Kuhll was authored in its main hall. The renowned Galactic Tecton Avatar Omega was commissioned by the Emperor to design the site in 12861 and was so well received that he has since been retained by the Emperor to design and oversee the construction of several more buildings in various systems over the next few solar cycles.
This feels like an actual place -- the details are so good. You absolutely nailed the atmosphere here. It's beyond impressive. Just wow.

Thanks for reading the description - I'm not sure, but I think the percentage of those that read the descriptions is not very high. Also, as credits are no object to the emperor, his only currency of influence is a rare plant that when ingested gives the user the distinct impression that one is not in a galactic civilization, but is actually a simple nerdy schmuck playing a video game.
I'm not sure how you got a half offset right triangle but I'm determined to figure it out and apply it to my own builds, crazy awesome stuff! Also, the lighting is just phenomenal. You're really using NMS's naturally low lighting to your advantage to craft a cozy feeling environment.
Hint: use a half-wall. Thanks for noticing the lighting, I pay special attention to that.

Your constructions are brilliant, the complex architecture and the many details create a special atmosphere, No Man's sky is really in the spotlight. How did you imagine the texts that appear in the description of each video? They create a deep background in a particular universe.
You are very kind. Many of my builds are informed by a sort of imaginary lore that helps me make design decisions. At the end I try to capture the spirit of the theme in story form.

How do you build? Do you start with a floor plan?
Hmmm. Sometimes I have just an idea in mind, but typically need to be inspired by the landscape - the building should not 'fight' the terrain, but work with it. .
It looks just a little like Kerry Eurodyne's mansion in Cyberpunk2077, i like it.

I just started on No Man's Sky. I think I know what I will be doing. In games that have a good, or even a half-decent, system, base building always distracts me from everything else. In Fallout 4, I completely lost sight of the main quest and constructed massive, ugly buildings out of junk. (Mods are useful there to expand the possibilities.) In Valheim, I used the cheats (and now the new customized difficulty settings) to turn off the fighting so that I could concentrate on gathering resources and building things. I see the same thing happening now with No Man's Sky. Hopefully, I will stumble onto a scenic but environmentally nasty world where I can start on my first real base (as opposed to the starter one on the random world from the tutorial). I like places that are aesthetically pleasing but also look like they want to kill you. I'm not going to look anything up online to try to find such a world; it's more fun to stumble onto things like that at random. Hopefully I can eventually come up with a base as half as good as the one in this video - it really shows that No Man's Sky has potential for builders like me.

Landing pad for the ship is too far from the house either that or if you planning of expanding down then add a staired path from the landing pad to the front entrance.

I have problems using the triangular and square tiles in the same structure, mostly with how to close off the roof
I was in the middle of a build then i realised damn, theres a hole in the roof.
They need to add roofs that work with the triangle tiles and the small squares

How did you get everything lit so nicely just with these lamps? Does it really work on PS5?
On PC everything inside is fricken dark if you don't use those glowing plants but they are a bit too bright, is just a drag.

Consider, pathways. Inner and outer pathways are a must to incorporate. One way in equals one way out, which keeps a site from developing past a few rooms. Multi-entry, multi-level, multi-building expansiveness and modularity 🧩

Not an architect, but generally creative engineering type with a love of all things cleverly designed from mundane disposable containers to cutting edge aeronautics and everything in-between. Thanks for watching.
I really want to know how you make these builds, wow!
There are a few basic principles. Choose an interesting location. Tell yourself a story about the location to inform your decisions. Always start building above ground, never flat on the ground. Choose a set of material types and stick to it. Start symmetrical, and then diverge from the symmetry. Experiment - try weird stuff. Don't be afraid to throw the whole thing away if you lose inspiration, or the build is not flowing. Thanks for watching.
This base is amazing! One thing I dislike about NMS is i dont feel there is enough building things, stuff like Minecraft or Valheim while simple allow you to still do complex builds. But you still manage to make awesome bases that feel real even with the limitations!
Is there any tips you could give for just builds in general? and how do you make those big open windows? All my walls only give small window slots

The walls can be made 6-sided hexagons and 12-sided circles orienting the triangle and square floor pieces. Non-mod wire and cache builds can be achieved as well.
Wires are useful to create hinges and scale-wires from which to rotate and size soft-locked objects like flooring and storage containers. Caching an object for snap-placement works similarly to copying a 'wire' ⛪
Double-height walls with half recessed roof makes for roof rails and 1.5 inner height. Top-level windows are designed for exactly this 📐

Yo AO, can you give me a hint on the light you use inside the top of each window seem? I’m new but have visited this base numerous times and tried peeking the camera up by the default light bars to see if I can figure it out. No light source I shrink down seems to give the same lighting.
