Briza Mercado Zambrana You’re right! I love Lara Fabian when I was a little kid. Her Adagio bring me to Dimash about 2 years ago and I love him so much. Then I keep listening to his songs every single day. He did great job on this song about vocals and technique and I love it too. However I prefer Lara Fabian’s performance on X factor Ukraine. I think just because of English. The lyrics and meaning of this song is little bit hard for Dimash’s English skill. Overall I love both.

He did an amazing version of this song! It's the third of the covers from Lara Fabian's Mademoiselle Zhivago project (and she is absolutely NOT annoying, she's classically trained and co-wrote this) with Igor Krutoy. The third is a song called Vocalise, in which Lara's original has only a few lyrics, it's really just mesmorizing vocalizing. Dimash's version added lyrics to the beginning which is really creative and a total reworking of the song, and, if I understand correctly, he's calling it "Know". Please please please do Lara at some point, you are missing out one of the best voices the world has seen!

I love the song because it is minor for the most part and he can play with it a bit. I am in awe of the way he can jump from low to high in just seconds and is always always always on perfect pitch. You can really see how very tall and slim he is with his standing next to the piano. He's about 6'3" and slender as a whippet. Very elegant always. I don't think the violins where necessarily playing the music. One was totally checking him out and not even paying attention to her fingering! lol
Dimash's amazing ability to sing is always different. On March 23, I listened to this song in the Kremlin. He sang differently, more gently .. Dimash is space! Thanks for the detailed analysis! Very professional!
