    This all night guided sleep meditations, deep sleep hypnosis adult bedtime stories compilation has a black screen during all of the sleep stories so that if you are playing this video for the full 8 hours it hopefully won't be too bright.
    This is a deep sleep hypnosis, guided sleep meditation adult bedtime stories compilation designed, like all my deep relaxation stories, to calm an overactive mind. These guided sleep meditations are to help you let go of thoughts and worries while helping you to fall asleep quickly, tackling insomnia.
    This collection of healing hypnotic sleep stories for grownups is a collection of 14 bedtime stories for grownups from 2019 (8 hours of sleep stories). By listening to one of my sleep stories compilations you only have the initial RUclips introduction from me, after that the stories play uninterrupted with no further introductions or ads (I never put ads in the middle or at the ends of my videos. RUclips has started doing this from time to time to creators videos without their permission, so if you see yellow marks in the video timeline then refresh and see if that makes the ads go away. When ads show, it is sporadic, but it is best to always check with any sleep story or guided meditation you watch from any RUclipsr).
    The sleep stories for grownups are:
    - An Egyptian Cat's Ocean Adventure
    - An Underground Civilisation
    - Dreaming In A Moonlit Meadow
    - Dreaming Wisdom
    - Exploring A Lucid Dream
    - Me-Time By The Lake

    I grew up having debilitating panic attacks and mental health issues. Now just entering my 20s, I call myself a night owl, but really sometimes I've been afraid to turn the lights off and be in the darkness with my thoughts until I waded into sleep. Even with sleep pills, I still remained awake, afraid and distracted. I came across this video after sifting through other narration videos that spoke too fast to be of any help. Your video put me to sleep in twenty minutes, and even when I woke up throughout the night, your voice literally lulled me back to sleep. I am so grateful that you put in the time to do this, helping millions of us get the sleep we need to carry on with the next day and the next. Thank you, thank you, thank you...

      His videos have changed me and my anxious childrens' lives. These 8-10 hour videos have been quite literally saving our lives the last 2 years. I have panic disorder too, and am a night owl due to emotional distress still at 37 years old 😢 After I discovered this channel and played it for my kids I started listening at bedtime too. Now we're all sleeping to Dan Jones' voice and so much better bc of it. Sleep is vital for healing.
      A few other sleep channels that have helped me are: the soothing pod, the french whisperer, and relax for a while. Please tell me if you have any other channels you like. I wish you peaceful nights 💕

    WOW three tracks this week and it's only Tuesday. You've been busy! You know we appreciate it 💜. Noticed this is Volume I, how many are you planning on doing?! Listened to the dog story compilation last night, it was great. I like how when you do stories about animals you do it from their perspective. 😊

    • @DanJonesHypnosis
      @DanJonesHypnosis  4 года назад +3

      I quite like imagining what the perspective of different animals would be, so it is always interesting to have things from their perspective.
      Posting the Dog compilation was likely an error in terms of then releasing the main weekly video this morning (which has done very badly in terms of views). If I post videos too close together it impacts on RUclips's algorithms showing my videos. I posted the Dog compilation Monday morning and then the main weekly story this morning 24 hours later. RUclips don't like showing people videos by the same channel that have been posted within about 48 hours of each other so by posting the Dog video it has reduced how many views my main story has gotten.
      That is why I decided to post this video, because I thought, I've already negatively impacted on my views on my main story video for this week, so I have nothing to lose by posting this now rather than next week. This video also won't get many views for the same reason, but I suspect that being 8 hours of stories back to back it will be a slow burner and will gradually start to get good numbers of views as people discover it and start to use it (it is so irritating to myself thinking about 'is this going to increase or decrease my views etc, I would rather just be posting things and letting everything else take care of itself. One day my channel will hopefully be popular enough that I can just focus on the posting and not on views because I would make enough income to not worry if sometimes I've made half the income because of posting too much, or because I posted some stories people didn't really resonate with etc)...
      I have already created a second volume of stories from this year and by the end of the year I may well have enough 2019 stories to create a third volume. I have also already created a royalty compilation which is a collection of my royalty stories (king/queen/prince/princess stories) and I am thinking about other sets I might do. The chances are, as I am currently trying to keep up the pace of making 3 stories per week (the livestream story, main weekly story and Thursday bonus story) I won't have much time to go through all of my back catalogue to create too many sets, but will be doing enough stories that perhaps 3 or 4 times per year I can create volumes of stories from the preceding months...

    • @introvertedfox6826
      @introvertedfox6826 4 года назад +1

      @@DanJonesHypnosis RUclips algorithms seem to ruin everything. Sorry your channel's been negatively impact on your channel. I would love if your channel were more popular too, you deserve the recognition, I've told some people about it!
      I'd forgotten to say that while I would love your channel to grow, part of me worries that it would make the live stories too chaotic, in which case I'd completely understand you forgoing them, though I do really enjoy the interaction.

    • @DanJonesHypnosis
      @DanJonesHypnosis  4 года назад +3

      I worry that too, I can (as other RUclipsr's do) set for paid comments, that stand out and remain visible etc, but I don't like the idea of putting engagement behind a paywall, not everyone can afford to pay and it isn't fair on those who can't afford it.
      One thing is that the livestreams are UK time, so that reduces how many people would be in the stream unless I suddenly get lots of UK subscribers. I'm sure when I get to asking for ideas I can ask something like just posting one idea once each just so that I can get the list and if I have too many ideas to reasonably work with in a single story I could say something like I will write down the first 20 or so I see.
      In relation to just interacting, I can easily pick a day and perhaps (ideally for me!) a slightly earlier time just to interact, answer questions, maybe ask over the week if there is anything people would like me to talk about, or whether people would just prefer to be able to ask questions generally.
      I tried this before, but was essentially talking to myself(!) now I have more people joining me in the livestreams who are engaged, so if I did a dedicated Q&A type stream people may well be up for that separate from the giving ideas and getting a story stream...

      I create these every Monday evening on my channel during my weekly sleep meditation creation session. During the livestream I ask the viewers for ideas they would like in the meditation, they suggest their ideas in the live chat, I write down the ideas and once I have the ideas written down I say "okay, just take a moment to close your eyes..." And I just crack on with creating a therapeutic meditation on air as viewers watch.
      I describe it as just treating the live chat as a client and then do what any therapist does during their therapy sessions. The chat gives out content to turn into therapeutic metaphors (just like a client will talk about wanting to gain perspective, that they are at a crossroads, that they feel tense, that they have been going through rocky times etc), I take these ideas and think what therapeutic metaphors I can come up with to help with at least stress, anxiety and worry (and if something else comes up during the live chat I may include metaphors for this as well, like weight loss, grieving, pain control, immune system functioning, etc) I could create and how these can be turned into a wider narrative that also uses various therapeutic techniques like transitions, sandwiching specific bits of therapeutic work, etc, as well as including some techniques and processes to encourage sleep etc., and linguistic techniques, and then I just create the meditation. I try to promote curiosity and reduce things being too predictable so that hopefully the meditation holds and focuses attention, the same with trying to direct attention to sensory details to help evoke an experience, not just having someone listen along and hope this keeps the person focusing on and engaging with the meditation rather than drifting into their own thoughts or worries etc.
      So when I start I have an idea from looking at the list of words I have written down who the character will be (the listener or an animal or a person etc), where the meditation will start, what the objective is for the character and the journey they will go on and the metaphors I will use and how I will link these together and where transitions etc will be, like when the character will dream or pass through a door, or descend steps, or change state in some way etc., and how certain things will have relevance later perhaps or make sense in a different way later. I just don't know, like when doing any therapy session, what words I will use from moment to moment.
      In my video descriptions is a link to a demonstration of me doing this on a course I was teaching, where one of the trainee therapists, who I had never met or interacted with before that day and had never worked with until they volunteered for the demonstration you see, volunteers to be worked with in front of the audience, she shares a little about her problem and what she would like to achieve, I ask the audience about what they have observed and share a few of my thoughts before doing what I do in these meditations, taking her ideas and presenting them therapeutically back to her. After this brief demonstration the client and myself answer more questions, so you get an idea from her responses how powerful storytelling in this way can be therapeutically for people. What you see in the video is what I do every week to make these sleep meditations. Every Monday I record them live with viewers ideas, every Tuesday I upload an edited, cleaned up and better audio quality version to RUclips of the sleep meditation recorded live about three weeks earlier.

      One of the most effective ways to get people to sleep, and what therapists often suggest to those seeking therapy for insomnia, is to tell the person to do their best to stay awake. The greater the incentive to try to stay awake the more likely and faster the person is to fall asleep. When working with trends with severe challenging behaviour in children's homes it was common that when the trend refused to go to bed, instead of arguing and trying to force them to go to bed you would say to them, okay, try to stay awake all night, if you can stay awake all night you can have £10... It wouldn't normally take long for them to be fast asleep. When working in parenting I would have parents tell their children that they are sleepy and don't want to miss what they are watching (so they maybe watching a cartoon etc with the child in their bedroom with the child in need) and so if they fall asleep can their child make sure they stay awake to the end of the programme to tell them what happens. Then the parent would relax and pretend to fall asleep (parents often joked they had no problem doing this!) and the child would then try really hard to stay awake, but the harder they try to stay awake the faster they would fall asleep.

      Yes, this is a compilation of also meditations from 2019, about 4x per year I have enough sleep meditations to create a new all night compilation like this one, but all these sleep meditations are available individually on my channel. I have over 200 sleep meditation sleep stories on my channel from short 15 minute stories to long 90 minute stories. To make it easy to find what you are looking for I have lots of playlists, there are playlists by length of story, playlists by what is in the stories etc. But because I don't recommend listening to playlists, but just using them to find the specific story you are looking for, I create these compilations so that people don't have to use the playlists. I upload a new sleep meditation sleep story every week and create a new compilation video about every three months. All of my sleep stories are also available on streaming and downloads services like Amazon Music, Apple Music, iTunes, SoundCloud and Spotify and on my sleep stories app.
