    That thing you were spinning does not adjust depth, it adjust the direction of the exhaust. The gun has no ability to adjust or regulate its own air pressure so its depth adjustment is accomplished by simply moving the tip of the barrel closer to or farther away from the work piece. The depth adjustment is a small black knob on the right hand side of the tool between the trigger and the magazine. It can be seen clearly at 1:50 in this video.

      Thank you! When I made this video I wasn't aware of that and then updated the video description to reflect exactly what you just mentioned. Thanks for the comment! Have a great day!

      The knob you're talking about shot off of my gun and broke into pieces.
      I bought a new knob but don't know how to put it.
      I would truly appreciate any advice you may have

    I'm a lot more familiar with the 18 Ga version. Are you sure the thing on the back is the depth setter and not just the exhaust direction setting? I didn't really see the same turn style depth setter as the 18

      I actually updated the description awhile ago after I posted this video. You are correct. The back dial is just to change the direction of the exhaust. The depth setting is up near the tip. Thanks for the comment! Have a great day!

    The kind of large round black plastic pressure adjustment knob flew off of my gun as I was nailing 1 1/2 l" nails. The round not broke into pieces. I ordered a new round knob but don't know how to put it on

    I’m using this same nail gun to plumb my walls for tile. I don’t have the thing with me but can’t seem to figure out whether or not you have to oil it? And if so do I have to oil it before first use? Also what kind of oil for crying out loud.

    • @fixanythingsavemoney
      @fixanythingsavemoney  Год назад +1

      You don't have to add oil before first use. The internal o rings are already lubricated. That being said, adding a couple of drops of oil every month or so won't hurt especially if you're using a lot. Here is the link the buy the correct oil for it. You just add a few drops into the air line connection. It doesn't say anything about doing this unless you're replacing o-rings on it but it can never hurt to put a couple drops in from time to time. here is the link for the oil.

    Why is gun not discharging nails won't jab and appears everything is okay.

      May have a nail stuck inside. You may have to disassemble the tip to get it out. I've had mine jam up because of this before.

    Is this a nail gun/staple gun or just nails? I bought one that was labeled as such

    • @fixanythingsavemoney
      @fixanythingsavemoney  Год назад

      Only nails. This set I bought had two different gauge nail guns along with a staple gun and compressor

    Thing jams all the time- the nails dont stay on the track

      I had a similar issue but only once where a nail got stuck in the nose. It took me awhile to figure out how to disassemble it to get it out but it only happened once and I've probably used it a dozen times. That's not good to hear though. I'm looking at getting and reviewing a battery operated one.

      @hiltonriverasr.6298 sorry to hear this. Are you using bostitch nails? Maybe air pressure is too low? Not sure otherwise why it would keep jamming up on you

    Its not the way u adjust it !!!

      I realized this after uploading and updated the video description to let people know the knob on the back just controls the exhaust direction and the depth adjuster is at the tip. Thanks for the comment! Appreciate it. Have a good day!
