I can't thank you enough, Mr. Muniz. I have learned so much today and my berets will be so much more professional because of your generosity. Thank you.
I have learned more in an afternoon of watching your channel than I have for 20 years! Thank you for your EXCELLENT teaching!! And please do draft and construct more caps, like flat caps 🥰
I appreciate your beret pattern making and construction videos; easily the most thorough, crystal-clear and detailed! Thank you for sharing your expertise and I look forward to more of your millinery offerings.
The pattern drafting i found fairly straight forward, you’re an excellent teacher. The construction i am however slightly nervous for. My technical skill is not where my math is lol.
It is a really good class and I might it a try, I just don't know how American seamstress and tailors go through life while needing to do measuring using so many fractions
@@StitchingVulture how can i print the head size pattern? Are they in actuall size on the paper? Or i shuld resize them on photoshop? Or if i print them on a4 or a3 paper ,every sizes come true ?
You only add seam allowance after you've completed the draft. Never include it or add it to any measurement. It's always added after the pattern has been drafted.
I just finished sewing a beret using your method. Thank you very much, everything turned out great!!!👍🇺🇦🇬🇧😊

Just take your time. If it helps, you can make a practice muslin sample before you invest in fashion fabric.
@@StitchingVulture bought a bunch of discount clearance muslin and 99c satin to practice running my pattern over and over! I’m determined haha
Very nicely demo’d & defined. Thanx for the video.
Glad you liked it!

I really love your video
Thanks a lot for your excellent tutorial. Plz I want to now how we determine the head size. From where you got the initial 22.5 inch. Thanks
Do you mean that the 22.5 is the head circumference of the customer. Thanks
Yes. You measure the head of the customer and add ease.
Thank you for makind this video. How can i find the head size plate pattern for the begining?🙄
The link is located in the video description.

Print actual size.
How can I make this pattern in a crochet pattern, please help me because I want to make several.
I do not make crochet patterns.
Does the inside head measurement also include seam allowance or 3/8 need to be added?
You only add seam allowance after you've completed the draft. Never include it or add it to any measurement. It's always added after the pattern has been drafted.
Hola soy Mariana Gabriela los moldes de las boinas me gustaria tenerlos como aria para conprarlos
I do not sell my patterns, but you can make your own pattern.
Why do you use an oval crown to do the pattern of the side?
The brim shape needs to follow the crown shape. The crown is drafted from an oval.
