She should have never been separated from her real mother. If the dad got attached to the baby, that doesn’t mean he can choose to keep her, and even that so far away from her mom. And if he was so insistent upon raising her himself, then he should have taken more responsibility to make sure she wouldn’t feel lonely after his marriage. Bad, bad decisions made by the parents cause such harm to the children unfortunately!

People need to understand that nobody is perfect and there are ups and downs in everyones life.. and if children are involed one must try to resolve problems or otherwise after divorce sharr the responsibilty of chikdren for their physical and mental health.
A toxic relationship hurts children more than a divorce. Not every couple got seperated, some does and its their choice. Its difficult for children but parents can work it out. divorce is something that happens between an incompatible couple, not between children and parents.

I have a niece and nephew their mother left them when they were very young and she lives in same city but she never approached them I am sure they misses her but they never expressed their feelings in front of anyone.
