Security Lock for Bergara Single Shot Rifle

When not locked away out of sight, it may sometimes be appropriate to make a firearm inoperable by removing an essential part or by fitting a lock. I like to be able to lock a rifle if transporting it or if I'm staying somewhere where there is no lockable cupboard. While I've found it to be relatively easy to make a bolt action rifle secure, a lever action or break-action firearm may be more tricky.
