@@Deckardrick007 Everyone's proximity alarm is different. Casting distance and closer in open water environments is certainly too close for me personally. Good rule of thumb is to simply give people their space and be courteous on the water.
lol kayakers always do that to other kayakers if someone's catching, especially if they're newer to fishing. At least it's not as bad as a boat full of people pulling up next to you. I've learned on weekends all etiquette goes out the window haha
Is that the jfk causeway you are fishing under? I just bought an old center console boat and plan on going down there, but I have no idea where to start my fishing/learning of the area. Thanks for any input or ideas you may have.
This vid wasnt JFK but I do fish there regularly. Anywhere on Laguna Madre is good right now. Bomb soft plastics or gold spoon near grass and spoil islands and youll clean up.
All the time on South Eastern coast. Have seen significantly less in TX but see them on occasion. Only time Ive ever seen them aggressive is May, thats when they lay eggs.
Please post the exact coordinates of this spot, Size and weight of rod and reel, specific launch you use and type of truck I will need to get there.. that's sarcasm.. work for it yall, or hire a guide

How close is too close? Didn’t seem like he was that close to you until the end. What’s good kayak etiquette for space?
