  • One of my favourite Hans Zimmer themes! I spent quite a long time on this one trying to get it as accurate as possible to the original recording with the guitars, rather than just doing a simplified chord arpeggio accomp.

I love you mate!! You are a legend and I totally agree what you are saying about being as accurate as lossible instead of doing a simplified arpeggio chord accompaniment as 99.999999999% of the piano cover pianist are doing. Much respect from your biggest fan🫶🙌🙌 This is pure magic from the excellence of execution Sir Ray!!

Thanks Noud! I really appreciate it. Part way through working on this I did question if I should have gone simpler, making it more performer friendly, but then it sounds so good with those little guitar details I decided to keep it this way! Besides, it's easier as a pianist to "downgrade" a piece for your own performing pleasure, rather than trying to add in those details and maybe make a mess of it. We'll see what other feedback I get, every new piece is a learning curve. Always appreciate your input, my good old friend ;)

@@RayJmusic That is spot on. Downgrading is such a better approach. Upgrading makes it a full mess for sure!! Your work is such an inspiration and people who admire quality do the same. Playing a piano arrangement that is empty or even inaccurate is very demotivating for a pianist. At least for me. Keep doing the great job legend🫶💥🔥🙌

Love it. I admire the way you managed to keep the spanish guitar vibes into the piano. Great piano cover ❤️

I've been listening to your work for a very long time now. James Horner brought me to you in a way 😢 His music will always be in my life. Your piano interpretations of his work often made me cry.
This instrument sheds so much light to his already moving writing.

I'm just waiting for it to be published on musicnotes. Hopefully won't be too much longer before they get the licensing sorted.
