I know this is the true church and no matter what or where in life I am. My faith will be with the lord and the church of Latter Day Saints.

Whatever is keeping you inactive, please take baby steps and then giant leaps to find a ward that you can join! I have found that going to Primary helps me when I have been distanced from the Lord. I can feel the spirit stronger there than anywhere else. 💗
Inactive member. Married to a woman I love truly but she's not a member of the church. Have three kids now and I pray God will find a way for me to come back back and, bring my family with me. One night I struggled to put my kids to bed and out of nowhere I remember this song back in the days from Moroni High School. I played it to my kids and before the song ends my kids are sleeping already. Thank You God for being there for me.
I was the only bald kid in high school, during my senior year, so people started calling me agent 47. Then, I started seeing the number 47 everywhere, so I looked up DC 4:7 and it says: "Ask, and ye shall receive. Knock, and it shall be opened to you. Amen." It's interesting because prayer is my biggest testimony of this church. All my prayers were always answered when they needed to be. Prayer is a huge part of my life, and I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father for providing such a blessing for all of us.
If I listened to this 8 years ago, if I went to that general conference, my life would be very different. That was when my family had a divorce. We fell away from the church and since then I made a lot of decisions that caused me a lot of doubt. God was there for me I'm so glad I finally saw this.
I'm sorry to hear that, not an easy thing. One thing to remember is that you are always a child of God and He will not forgot you. At President Monson taught, your future is as bright as your faith. You can move forward with a perfect brightness of hope.
During the last couple years, I lost faith in God's love as I had battled with depression. Just recently heard this in Cokeville Miracle and had forgotten how powerful this song is. I remember when I first heard this, I used to just think it was a lovely song but never felt emotional about it. that I'm older I can feel the real power. it gives me hope that God will hear me if I turn to him.
it is indeed moving and I feel my depression eased when listening as well... I wish I could say that feeling lingered after and continued to lift me from terrible thoughts.

I am not a mormon. I am not much for Doctrines. But Jesus, and His Father, are my peace. The music here, through the M. Tabernacle choir, Conjures up in my heart, A place in the Heavens, where ALL sing songs of praise to THE Holy One, to the only God, and I want so much to be changed, from flesh to Spirit, to be granted Mercy, and to be among the millions, of His Servants, praising Him. When I was in my mid teens my family no longer attended church. I started walking to church on my own. You just have to do what you know is right when you know it is right. The first place we lived was just a few blocks away from the church, but the next home we moved to was nearly 2 miles away. I still walked, though often another member would pick me up on the way.
I'm grateful to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I strongly feel the Holy Ghost touches my heart every time I hear this song. My soul sings with the choir and it makes me calm and I feel an exceeding peace in my mind and heart.
When I lost my mom and thought I lost everything in the world. The hymns and especially this one, reminds me of heavenly father's love and plan of happiness. And now I can move forward with "a perfect brightness of hope" in my heart
I'll always remember a conversation I had with a few friends who aren't active in the church anymore. We were talking about children's hymns, and when this one was brought up they all said it still brings them to tears, even though many of them are now atheist. This song is beautiful and invites the Spirit no matter anyone's religious beliefs
Every time I hear this I get so emotional because my grandmother passed away a year after I got baptized. Three years later, during a family home evening session, i felt my grandmother's spirit. I felt her arm around my shoulder and her loving comfort, after three years not knowing if she was alright in heaven. I cried so hard at her funeral but, now i know she's alright and in an amazing, spiritual, kingdom.

Whenever i stressed out and just don't know what to do, i always turn to this song. It truly speaks the truth. The choir is so amazing and just brings in the spirit. I always like to song along but like half way through the song i am always sobbing because how much this song means to me. Prayer is such a powerful thing, and truely talking to god will help you get through anything.

I remember singing this in children's choir when I was little, probably about 10. I remember singing it and feeling tears in my eyes, and I couldn't understand why, because the song made me so happy. Then I realized I was feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit in my heart!
This is the only hymn that stuck with me through the darkness. Sometimes I whistle it when I am out in public, and hope one day someone will come across the church and recognize the tune, and know it to be the truth.
One of my favorite Primary songs. I had a still born a few years ago, the day I was delivering her I kept hearing this song in my head. It only came to me in pieces. I was so frustrated, I couldn't think of the second verse for a number of hours and wanted it so badly, that is where all the answers are. Every time I hear this song I can feel that loving comfort from heaven I felt that day as my heart broke on earth for the loss of a little one I wanted so much.

I wasn't born with the LDS church but Im glad to have Mormon Channel Radio to learn more about it. Thinking about going back to church this Sunday after missing a few days. I'm sure I am missed there. The Elders I spoke with the powers that be with regards to my baptismal date and they said God wants me baptized This August 5th for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Should I do it?
It is entirely up to you. If you feel the Holy Spirit is nudging you towards baptism and you believe what you've been taught, then there is nothing in the way but your own fears.

Excellent the Mormon Tabernacle really a wonder! which reflects the great intention to do everything with the greatest excellence for the Lord! Love this song, and as a child the question is valid. As an adult you should have strong faith that he is there. As a senior citizen you should have no doubt!(He picks you up off your knees daily). I know that God lives, that Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father. That Joseph Smith Jr. was visited by them, and he was God's chosen instrument to restore The Gospel of Jesus Christ back to the Earth. I wish that all men might open their hearts and listen to the spirit that testifies of these things from the foundation of the world.

This is such a beautiful hymn, especially when our children sing it in their not so perfect voices if you just watch their faces as they sing, they will melt the hardest heart.

I'm sure I am missed there. The Elders I spoke with the powers that be with regards to my baptismal date and they said God wants me baptized This August 5th for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Should I do it?

Love this song, and as a child the question is valid. As an adult you should have strong faith that he is there. As a senior citizen you should have no doubt!(He picks you up off your knees daily). I know that God lives, that Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father. That Joseph Smith Jr. was visited by them, and he was God's chosen instrument to restore The Gospel of Jesus Christ back to the Earth. I wish that all men might open their hearts and listen to the spirit that testifies of these things from the foundation of the world.
