I loved singing this song with my German brothers and sisters and I was practically brought to tears to see it finally back in the English hymnal. The orchestra, particularly at the end is breathtaking. I hope that everyone is looking forward to the Lord's return as the song says. Good Sabbath!

I'm not a Mormon or even a supporter/strong believer in "Organized Religion". Yet; I love many Religious Songs/Hymns and with Mormonism specifically (due to the extreme fringe branches/groups), I appreciate & respect this Choir. I was raised/baptized Lutheran, with some relatives/sides of the family being Catholic and neither groups Choir in my personal experience was even a quarter this impressive/good.
Mormonism is not a church. It is called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Or Latter Day Saints who are not extreme or fanatic. Believe what Lutherans did in the 1950s. Modern churches are the extremes now.
Organized religion is an umbrella of protection for the servants of God. When one is in need, widowed or falls on hard times, there are brothers and sisters who love and care for each other. It's a place to learn about and draw closer to Him. God loves us so. We weren't meant to be an island.
I, too, struggle with churches. But, I have found it far easier to remember there is a difference between the gospel and the culture of organized religion. Church is led by people and I'm not perfect so I can't ask that of them, either. I try to focus on similarities instead of differences and I think we will all be OK in the end as long as we just do our truthful best. 😊

They are there. Not everyone applies and auditions for the choir which is a huge weekly commitment. No one is excluded or tested based on skin color. How silly and worldly superficial thing to say.
