I think this is the number 1 thing with bleach...people think bleach turns hair white, they don’t understand or realise what bleach actually is and does
Yup. Public think it's colour.. but it's the contrary! It just eats away the pigments. If they think bleach makes the hair white, then that means it's destroyed the keratin = chewing gum hair. It's toners = white. To Neutralise the pale yellow. So many believe bleach makes white🤣
a lot of these fails are people with high expectations. You can probably do it well yourself but it could be a days long process to get full unpatchy coverage. If you go into it thinking it's going to be a few hours until your hair is platinum you have set yourself up for failure and disappointment.

I went from black to blonde over a long period of time, but I did it myself! I used a tipping cap and bleached very small strands once a month until most of the black was out. It took me about a year before it became some semblance blonde again and I kept it super healthy by not blow drying it or straightening it more than once a week + I used a hair mask once a week. I’m about to do the same thing that this girl is doing, but my hair is naturally a 6.5-7 so I’ll just be doing my roots. Using the guide that hair Buddha so wonderfully gifted to us on this channel! 🥰

Bless you Budda, I get so frustrated watching these beautiful girls & boys ruining their hair and I'm not even a stylist. I'm a nurse, so I have some concept of ph & chemistry. My Dad was a stylist though. When his salon closed due to Covid he decided it was a good time to retire (and he had just turned 86) after 60 yrs in the business ( he didn't do color though and mostly men the past several years). Anyway, I hope that you can get through to more of them and they can learn from their costly errors in the future.

Your spot on about leaving the hair growth that long... Its so hard to get the regrowth to match. All that purple shampoo will do is turn the hair... Purple or grey... I would not have touched the ends...
Whyyyy is she putting bleach on her lengths?! They are already light blonde! Just bleach the regrowth and then tone. I worry those lengths are going to snap off.
I brighten my bleached hair every 6 ish months. Roots retouching every 5 weeks. For the length I will use volume 20 for 10 minutes tops. Its just enough to refresh but not damage. Toner takes a volume 20 and people do it every month 🤔 When I used to do same years ago I found my hair was getting more damage.

I know most women hate going gray, but I feel like it's gorgeous and magical to see my hair turn silver. I love it! Right now I have a very cool silver streak on the left side in the front and it's so cool! Quick blue is the most readily available at Sally’s as well as Wella. The other option for bleach in bulk (in the bucket) is BW2. I just recently bleached my hair but I used a test strand to see how many times I would have to bleach it and how my hair would respond, and I took the entire day to section, process, and evenly apply my products which gave me a great result. I have never been a blonde before but the past 3 days have been interesting lol!! I still want to go lighter when the summer comes but I’m going to try BlondMe and a different brand of toner 😁

I made the first 2 steps of many from black dyed hair to a copper shiny blond maybe. I used color remover and bleached the length with 3% developer and keraphlex now it get a 4 week break, a lot of masks and all following steps will be a hairdressers work. So thank you again for this online lessons 😂🤗
I have dark brown Asian hair and I like to do fashion colors (of course) so when I have to touch up my roots, I bleach once and then wait at least 2 weeks and bleach it again. Hair processing takes time people, what's the rush?!

She's watched it done online and in person, but has never done it herself. She's good at faking it, but the results are obviously those of a novice. Other than the roots, its a pretty silver, but those roots are screaming, "Why did she do this to me? Why did she pretend she's done this before? Look at me!" LOL. Rock it girl!

Never re-lighten your hair yourself if your mid lengths are that light!!!! There’s no way to not overlap, especially the back. Just go to a salon or have a professional friend help you! Please! Actually, go for it. Make sure to record and post so we get more of these videos.

The best way it was explained to me in beauty school. Is that it has to be pancake batter. She needs more bleach and her hair would lift more evenly. She's also spreading it to the ends right away removing the color from her roots. These people are doing so much wrong and it hurts. 🤣

@@cherylbglover I use redken shades eq toner. The toner that comes is so low- under 10. In fact I think it’s about a 5-7. Mush easier on hair.
I agree you should use the right amount of bleach buuuut in all fairness I never measure in my kitchen unless I'm baking 😅

She needs a lower level toner (8 ash)on those roots, and higher (9 or 10) on the length... But no one asked me 😂

Never re-lighten your hair yourself if your mid lengths are that light!!!! There’s no way to not overlap, especially the back. Just go to a salon or have a professional friend help you! Please!

The best way it was explained to me in beauty school. Is that it has to be pancake batter. She needs more bleach and her hair would lift more evenly. She's also spreading it to the ends right away removing the color from her roots. These people are doing so much wrong and it hurts. 🤣
