    Shawn, you are the only prominent pro teaching the “heaving” motion. You absolutely raise your head - I don’t know of any tour players that do this. But sure enough that move works like magic for me. Thanks for keeping it real. I can’t bend like those pro’s.

      Hey Greg! They finally arrived with this on tour in 2020 with Mark Blackburn who put out a video stating that if you wanted to use the ground better on the way down, you need to COME UP in the backswing! 😎😎 Been teaching that for only 15 years on youtube!!

    hello Shawn, since I put the two strips on top of the driver I have to admit great success. The driver either flies straight or there is a small draw or a small fade. I can live with that. In addition, I now have 10% more distance without having changed anything. And yes I use the inner stripe for my setup and yes as a slicer I have a very strong grip. I've now tried it with my 3 wood. The 3 wood was in the cellar all year round, but now with the two stripes on it it has been used again. It flies off the ground as far as my driver off the tee. And the cord straight. Unbelievable what these two stripes do for my eye for my brain. Thanks very much from Germany

      There are some nice turbulators on the top of the club right? Notice the configuration leads to the centre of the club? Very clever design! You could put 2 strips side by side between them and see if you can observe a nice blur there

      Hi Mike, as i realized still hitting too often from the toe i noticed my stripes were not properly „centered“, so put a a golfball exactly centered on the sweet spot in front of the club. My wife fixed the club and i put new tapes on so that that ball now is in between the two lines, same with my 3 wood

Kyle is on the right focus, do. Ot distract him from delivering his throw in the direction he wants to start the ball with when to turn on the power; that would be an unnecessary distraction from the task to the target. So if you’re hooking would trying to go more toward the heel slightly help the curvature or would it completely make it not predictable? I suffer from a massive hook. Hit a good fade though. My fade has always been get the outside of the ball and try cut across it. I’ve been carrying it 270 here lately but even playing a massive hook at times the ball goes further but it dies into the ground so quickly that I have no clue of the potential it has. I’m going to say I could carry 280-290 if I ever can get a good one off

    Shawn, at what speeds should golfers look at using a stiffer club shaft than just regular?

    • @golflessons
      @golflessons  2 года назад +2

      Starting at 95 to 100 MPH with driver; and it depends on the shaft brand! If it’s a 50 gram shaft, no problem; but if it's a 60 to 70 gram shaft with higher performance, it would be regular flex.

  • @Ericksonbellgolf

    gear effect is caused by the spin imparted by the twisting. as the club twists open the ball spins the opposite way like two gears interacting. Hence the term gear effect
