Nice video and good advice throughout. Appreciate you putting this out and doing the run down. The creative segment was also fun and creative-good laughs! Nice work on that! Just got the reduced price 6K and looking forward to using it in Open Gate with anamorphic. My question is which compression did you use on the BRaw?
Thank you for the kind words. Because I’m shooting anamorphic I use 3:1 compression. It doesn’t take as much information as the regular opengate
The bmcc 6k ff definitely has more dynamic range then what they say and the image is really close to the mini LF. I’m loving mine.
Yeah for sure there’s a butter to it. They are not telling us everything with this camera

If you shot in open gate then how the wide look you got on it ? Or did you cropped in post ?
I edited and rendered in 17:9 compared to regular 4k
