This is way more important to Erwin than Levi realised. Erwin really lives and breathes for the Scouts and the discoveries he hopes to make through them. This is why Erwin had to go, even at great risk for himselfn having just one arm. And Levi looked at him and realised that Erwin really needs to go and that was the only decision Erwin could have accepted. Something like that.

This one is that "calm before the storm" type of episode. Even tho it is, we've got a lot of hints and motives of major characters that will get paid off on the future

This episode is truly needed. I love watching our beloved characters chilling out and enjoying the moment together. Eren has definitely recovered since his meeting with Keith Shadis; he was reminded that each of them is special, and he could release all the pressures that had burdened him before. Even Mikasa enjoyed Eren's change of personality and let him have his moment with Jean. It's great to see that for the first time, the scouts are ready, and there were no surprise events that distressed us. Watching Levi being alone just made me kind of sad. But Hayley, I really could share the same emotion that you had... I also had chills and tears in my eyes when Erwin responded to the great send-off by the citizens of the wall. Again, i truly enjoy your reaction! Please let me give a suggestion : Don't hesitate to revisit parts that you may not have grasped well, perhaps the emotional aspects, character expressions, or factual data, or subtitles, or other details. Trust me, this will be very helpful.

This is my favorite version of Eren. He's got his mental strength back and feels hopeful. It feels like the audience deserved to keep him around for a little longer without having to throw more adversity at him right away. I know that's kind of the author's point but it couldn't have hurt to have some bonding time with him.
I have always thought of this episode as very similar to the Sylvan Retreat motif found in lots of Elizabethan theatre. Like how in Shakespearian tragedies there's sometimes a random act where they fuck around in the woods and have fun and find peace for a bit. It's a break between the heavy shit that alleviates the audience's (and characters') tension with some silliness and sentimentality before we plunge right back into the fire
From here to the end is when imho this already incredible series becomes an absolute masterpiece. I never thought I’d ever have a clear favourite series of all time, but this is it. Especially upon rewatch.
I always always always at least tear up When they're getting their proper send off. Awalys, and sometimes cry. They finally get their real send off. And Erwin is so fucking hype always. Also, being very fair. I absolutely was face blind to poor bert too. People don't realize how big a difference hair makes in recognizing someone. If they're wearing different clothes than you're used to seeing. AND their hair is brushed back off their face by the wind..
If you love Levi voice, wait till you meet him in One Piece. He voices a fan favorite character in One Piece later in the series... like 300 episodes in or more ( I don't remember the exact episode he first showed up).
Most comments saying the next arc is the best arc but it's the ptsd arc for me. Literally I can't rewatch it even thru reactors so this is usually wer I stop but I might give it a go with these girls. Love them

I heard that this end credits scene was not originally in the manga and was put in mainly as a teaser since there would be another long break until season 3 part 2 was released. If that is the case, then it seems different to me than opening credit scenes. It seems more like an advertisement, to be honest, as opposed to an intentional and artistic choice. That's why I think reactors should even watch season 4 part 2's opening (which many people seem to disagree with), but even I think there might be a reason to skip this ending. In any event, I don't think it matters much one way or the other. There are pros and cons to watching this end credits scene and to not watching it.
Every reactor I’ve seen react to has not regretted watching it. It’s literally perfect for reactors. It raises more questions, has a WTF IS GOING ON??! moment when we all first witnessed it. Not the end of the world that they accidentally skipped it but would have been fun to watch them trip out on it and try to analyze it. Which is pretty much the main point and fun of watching reactors in the first place
Eh. I've seen reactors who watched it later and we're glad they didn't watch it. Their minds would have been preoccupied and distracted during the Shiganshina arc if they had watched it. And I know one reactor, FilmBuff, who did watch it and then advised another channel, AutoSave, to not watch it. And I think that was the right choice for them.
