Deep nostalgia ,seeing MY city of long ago The places I worked. Pity the Beautiful town hall was sheathed in scaffolding and hoardings, (the place my father worked.) The route's I often walked. Loved my city ,even when it was black with soot and neglected in the 60's.. I am proud of its grit and determination NOT to be ignored by the 'powers that be' To still play a huge part in making Britain great, to lead the way as it always has...
