Regardless of how his life ended, there's no denying that MJ had the world's attention. If this series continues here's are some suggestion: Prince, Whitney Houston, Madonna, David Bowie
he still has the woorld attention.
My favorite era would be right now. He is gone but not forgotten. With two post humorous albums (Michael and Xscape) and a Halloween themed compilation album, there is so much to listen to from MJ. We have so many amazing songs across all his albums to listen to. I still enjoy his music and always will.

One anecdote I have is when me and two friends went to see This Is It. As we were walking out of the theater, two guys were walking behind us, one of them sobbing uncontrollably. He was leaning on the other guy, in tears, and we were close enough to hear him say: "Please, tell me he's not dead! Please tell me he's in Acapulco with Elvis and Pedro Infante!" My friends and I had to keep contain ourselves from laughing out loud given just how torn up the guy looked about it.
Michael Jackson was probably the first celebrity I ever heard of. It's insane how famous he is.
Michael was and is the best entertainer of all time, he still a strong presence in pop culture today years after his death he is still missed everyday. RIP MJ!

One concept that I find fascinating about Michael Jackson is how similar his life was to Mozart. Both were highly talented musicians at a young age, forced by their father to practice long hours and perform in front of audiences. Both died young. Both attempted to maintain the appearance of their youth in their adult lives. There are several other parallels I’m sure you can find, I won’t list them all.

As for my favorite era it's really hard to pick. Rock with You, Human Nature and Leave me Alone are some of my personal favourites.
But as a kid growing up in the 90's, to me hands down is his Dangerous era. Dangerous is one of my favorite albums of all time, some really good hits like In the Closet, Who is it, Give in to me and the title track are amazing to listen to.
