- A full walkthrough & guide on how to beat the final level in Splatoon 3's story mode. This is the rocket level, which is accessed after beating all 3 bosses in Alterna. The level is titled "Alterna Space". Final boss and ending are also included, as they are part of the level.
I'll start working on a 100% collectibles guide soon, as there are quite a bit of (hidden) items to find.

I love how the Splatoon team have to constantly injure agent/captain 3 because they're unbelievably stronger than anyone and could resolve the plot of every game alone

Any threat would be obliterated within minutes
Pretty much every Agent is invincible and could save the world in a snap. I believe they intentionally let this new recruit have a shot at it.
Literally after Deep Cut said that they were their new boss right off the bat Big Man just asks if he can get a raise.

@@lamegamertime The entire level structure of the campaign is basically a fusion of elements from the campaigns of the first two games and the Octo Expansion DLC from 2, is what I think they meant.

Not really inspired it was pretty much just octo expansion with different level designs and a different story
Damn the cutscene where they builded the machine reminded me of like one of those building montages in kids show.

This hero mode puts 2s hero mode to shame. Each site being fairly big had lots of hidden secrets. The levels are a lot like Octo Expansion, with the aspect of choosing 1 of 3 weapons, or and infinite special level which were the ones I had most fun with. Glad Octavio wasn’t the final boss, and that he helps you at the end of the game. This hero mode was a blast.
FRRR, Sploon 3 story mode is by far the best yet!

Damn, i freaking love Salmon Run so much, such a beautifull gamemode.
S3 Hero Mode is insane too, the human lore and Mr. Grizz log are awesome + the animations on this game are so good.
Surely the best game in the series.
I love how the first bosses was a dj octopus to a psychopathic telephone to a gooey bear trying to eliminate anything

can we talk about the most OP character? small fry? went to space.. no helmet, doesnt need that cause he a chad AND absorbed energy from the earth all the way from where he was to become hugefry.. all while holding back full powered mr grizz who clearly was stated to have "gotten bigger" saving every one while you do the light work and use a vacuum? 😳 smallfry is an absolute unit
Fun fact: if you listen very closely from 25:39 to the cutscene, you can sort of hear cuttlefish screaming in pain
Actually I’m pretty sure that’s the music. The alterna rocket ship ost has 4 sections, this being the last. It’s the most disturbing ad it has sounds of static, corrupted music, crashing of what seems to be buildings and what sounds to be like screaming. Possibly a remnant of human screams before perishing.

This is a long final level, but the build up was pretty good all things considered. The challenges were well executed.

DJ Octavio to show up to help in the end against Grizz. The threeway mix of Calamari Inkantation was amazing and the only way it could have been better was if Off the Hook, and Agents 4 and 8 showed up to help hype up Agent 3

I just realized in phase 4 of the rocket, the first half of the stage has the song being more upbeat, and then the second half being less complex

Imagine trying to explain this absolute acid trip of a level to someone who has never heard of splatoon…a literal kaiju battle between a bear and a fish, IN SPACE, riding on a sentient octopus’s DJ machine while VACUUMING UP said bear because he infused himself with DNA-altering goo???? Too risky, if the captain fails then the squidbeak splatoon will have no captain. Also they’ve never seen any of this weird fuzzball stuff either, and they have no smallfry, so they wouldn’t be able to advance.

How do you get to here in the post game
Look for the Mr. Grizz statue (the one from Salmon Run) at the squid sisters camp on the first island.
Also, one thing special is that almost everything contents the number 3…
