As an archer myself I love the fact that he made some of the archers hold their breath before shooting and breathing in after taking the shot. Amazing attention to detail 👌
Really well done 👏 I love your style of animation. It calls back to many of those old historic battle stop motions 🔥 super nostalgic. 😄 Incredibly great quality as well ✨️
I think it's weird how peaceful this stopmotion is. It is also very inaccurate about the fact they didn't show the last stand of Burgerking. (This was a very good stopmotion and its also super cool)
Amazing, Brick King (I'll call you that now) I love the effort you put in it! Also love the Idea of the cannon, the face expression changes, the translator and the guy who got blown to bits by the cannon! LOL
I realy like your video, I can see so much effort put in making this movie. I'm glad the heavy armor of the knights actually protect them and to kill knight weapon must reach vital point. What is to improve it is use of cannons. That weapon didn't make any major part of the battle and their effectiveness was little, but I understand that from artist point of view it helps diverse battle, which is fine. But shoots gives no effect on the cannon, they stay in the place, while whole cannon should move back or something to show power of black pounder and phisic. I know, nerdy, but I realy enjoy little details. Anyway, good work.
YOOOOOO ITS OUT! Can't wait to see more historical content! I like the Brictator style! You should also do a tutorial on how to make the arrowless bows and seperate arrows!
Man I wish I had the lion knights castle set so I could make some stop motions it would be really cool, I loved this animation and the effort put into it!
Excellent work and the canon were pulled off perfectly! As accurate as usual too! The French were good soldiers and knew battle tactics, but the knights were just a little stuck up and ignored battle tactics ruining the unity of the army.
A great stop motion about one of the most interesting historical battles. For some reason I forgot to subscribe to your channel. This mistake is fixed now
Again, another amazing stopmotion. I love the way this animation is made. And i can’t wait for another one! Small tip for the french knights though- Using plain black legs and any black torso looks pretty good in my opinion, but that’s your decision to make. Good stuff man!
The new Brictator: Love your stuff dude! I binge your series more than talking to girls. I got an idea for a stop-motion: Scottish War for Independence like Bannockburn, Stirling Bridge, Falkirk, etc.
Thanks! +girls are gross they have cooties. I watched braveheart recently so ive been meaning to animate Some scottish medieval stuff😂 gonna give it a go down the line after I finish up a couple more vids
There is a bit uncertainty with the arrows' killful power. In reality bow's arrow cannot pierce knight's armour. Archers were used to mow down knights' horses, which weren't armour-protected properly. What about animation - it's impressive, painstaking work. Quite interesting. I'm sorry if I wrote something incomprehensible - I'm just russian-speaker.
Офигеная анимация!!!!! Масштаб присутствует плавность есть а качество камеры и звуки шикарны !но есть 1 минус почти все войны были с добрыми лицами и также сними погибали

If you don't mind me asking, what do you use to edit your videos? Also, how long does it usually take to make these stop motions? Also great vid btw! :)
Thanks! I think all of my visual effects are done in video so it only takes a couple days to do the rest of the editing(sfx &subtitles). I use audacity for sfx and stop motion studio pro for the actual capture software. Averages out to 1-2 months per video
Amazing Stop Motion! But could you please make a stop motion where the French (or Black Falcons) win? Maybe like the battle of Castillon? So many Hundred Years War animations always have the english winning, even tho the french won. Just an idea, but great animation tho, very nice gore effect
My biggest piece of advice is momentum. My most favourite personal scenes/clips use weight/easing in and out really well. It truly makes all the difference the more you practice it
If crecy is remade the potholes the english made could be included The tools used on crossbows are very hard to depict in lego unfortunately and custom pieces cost like 40 euro Shooting in volleys wasnt that common, the constant rain could not be stopped by the parvises

Great animation again. I loved the archers firing at the calvary, that was smooth. Great job again.
You are literally the main reason why I started collecting medieval lego minifigures
Wow that means a lot, crazy to think i can inspire someone with my vids
Amazing video, I love the Canon effects

The Hundred years war was truly a brutal conflict, But that aside, this animation is great.

Joan of arc wasn’t born yet, but she will make an appearance in future hundred year war videos where she played a role for sure

What do you use for the blood look at 2:05, plasticine?
For blood, i use a mix of plasticine and a citadel brand miniature paint called ‘blood for the blood god’
COOL!!!!
Where do you get all your figures from? Are these all from official sets? If not where can I get a bunch?
Pick a brick from the official online lego store or bricklink. Very few figures from sets
