This film was everything I hoped it would be. Well written, well filmed, and VERY well animated. Again, you've outdone yourself with your attention to the little details that make a stop-motion like this truly great. One quick comment about making the Battle of Narva. Unlike stop-motions of modern war (including World War II), a battle like this older one depends a lot more on precise animation and imagination and a lot less on CGI. As far as I'm concerned, you nailed it! Hope you do more older battles. By the way, nice snowstorm.

The Battle of Narva on 30th November 1700, was an early battle in the Great Northern War. A Swedish relief army under Charles XII of Sweden defeated a Russian siege force three to four times its size. Previously, Charles XII had forced Denmark-Norway to sign the Treaty of Travendal, Narva was not followed by further advances of the Swedish army into Russia; instead, Charles XII turned southwards to expel August the Strong, from Livonia, and Polish Lithuania. Peter The Great took Narva in a second battle in 1704.

Excellent video!! The irony for Charles XII was that he won almost every battle against Peter (at least in his mind) until the final battle which destroyed the Swedish Army. The Battle of Poltava. There, Peter rose ascendant over Charles and wiping out the backbone of Sweden's military might.

@dreamypizza8458 from what I recall reading on the Battle of Narva, it was Peter who was not present during the fighting and Charles led from the front (as he did in almost all his battles). I could be wrong. But that's what I recall reading about the battle.
