Thanks for coming back with this suggestion, it's been a while.
They already finished the Europe Tour making everyone rocking out with their new songs such RATATATA along with Electric Callboy, and classic hits.
Doki Doki MORNING is where everything started, they got 11 and 12 yo when the group was created in 2010 with this song but the official MV (Edit version) was released a year later. The girls look so young i myself was thinking they got less than 10 yo when I met them with this song around that time.
The backing band you saw here are hired actors called "baby-bones", you'll see them performing live during early shows until 2014, after that Kami Band took their places as a real band on stage.
They're singing about waking up and going to school while worrying about make-up and usual girl stuff, this a metal song after all 🤘
There's an Air Dance version of this, with the girls dancing in front of the camera in this same room. There's also a funny commentary vid made by the girls telling us more details about the backstage on this song.
You can enjoy the live version of this with the Kami Band live at Legend 1999 and after Budokan 2014, they also performed this at Budokan 2021 celebrating their 10 years and even more recently they introduced the Metalverse era with this song performing and introducing some big surprise, you can find this clip live at Makuhari Messe 2023 at NLMetal.

Don't worry, you still have time to become a "fanboy", haha... I'm a lifelong metalhead, old-school and I only discovered them like five years ago. I became a die-hard fan in no time.
"DDM" was their first song and first single and this is their first music video. It's included in their self-titled first album (2014) and also in "Sakura Gakuin 2010 - Message" from 2011 (SG's first annual album). Sakura Gakuin is the idol group where they originated. Not sure if you are familiar with their history.

Welcome back, great reaction.🦊 You found their very first song - yes it was on the first album, but this was recorded late October 2010, over 3 years before the album was released (February 2014).
The video was made around August 2011 on a shoestring budget - Su was 13, Yui and Moa just turned 12.
This was how it all started with the fusion of metal with the J-Pop hooks, melodies and aesthetics. They had virtually no budget, they were in their own and some borrowed clothes, the Babybones skeleton suits were black onesies with white tape stuck on.
The girls were very pleased with themselves - they taught the choreo to the Babybones guys so they could dance along with them in the video.
You were right about doki doki being the fast heartbeat. The song is about a girl waking up late and rushing to get ready for an exciting day at school with all her friends.
The second song they performed live was 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' but that was not released as a single until after another two or three songs. The second song they released was 'Iine' (that is iine pronounced ee-neh, not Line). That one has some surprises - the official video is another good one.

Welcome back to Babymetal! This MV was their very first song, released in 2011 and they were ~13/12 here.
Their “child-like” adorableness was kicking strong for their first album. And today, they’ve traded that in for a grown-up sassy attitude, yet still adorable now that they are in their mid-20s!
Also, FYI: Before 2018, 3rd member was Yuimetal. She left in 2018 due to health. Momometal supported since 2019, and became official new 3rd member in Apr 2023.
If you want to explore their catalogue chronologically in order of albums , then here’s a few suggestions:
*Headbanger:* A quintessential classic Babymetal song. Do the MV, then the live from Legend 1997 show.
*Catch Me If You Can (Budokan 2014):* The ultimate dichotomy of cuteness and brutality.
