I really appreciate edited videos more than full ones, because, I mean, look at the Portugal campaign, I finished half of it through twitch saved videos and the series on RUclips is still stuck at %10 of the campaign.
@@randomffrandombff9636 He is, but he doesn't make edits of all of his videos, mostly because you kind of have to wait till Arumba finishes them, and until he finishes them, he already have started 5 more series.
I complained about you taking way too much time in your playthroughs but with these edits everything works so much better, and I even laughed my ass off when you had to restart. Good on you 'Rumba
Quite frankly, I like arumba's pace. The information he provides us is really useful, and unlike everyone else; he puts actual thought into the actions he wishes to take which is really cool and makes the experience of watching him far more entertaining than just editing it all out and rushing things. I guess what I'm trying to say is; don't let those NERDSS tell you any different, be who you are and keep up the good content mah dude!
Thanks for the feedback; I'll probably always play at the same rate since thats just.. who I am... If you want to see every second of the campaign, check out my Twitch VODS, or watch while I'm streaming. I streamed the past 20 days in a row, and don't really intend to stop. I do think I will still record my 'special' 'for-youtube-only' campaigns, but I intend to stream a lot of the content I produce on Twitch as well.
honestly you and long game short should really partner up and do this more often now that you stream more so videos like this can happen more often i think it would help the growth of both you and him allowing for mutual benefit and the viewer base would love it. However i dont think you should ever stop your full let's plays those are the life blood of your channel in my opinion.
0:03 - "And I'm currently eating ice cream-- Because it's 11:40 in the morning and... I'm a grown as man and... sometimes I'll eat ice cream at 11:40 in the morning cause I want to!" = Arumba, September 21, 2018. Made my morning.
Love the editing, and I'm excited to see where this campaign goes. I played Jianzhou -> Qing a while back and had a lot of fun, so it'll be interesting to see where you take this.
I really like the editing arumba, I love watching your campains but I can never watch it for long because its so slow. having things edited really helps me watch it.
fun fact - banners are the only special unit in the game tied to a culture (Manchu) rather than a government type. Anyone can get them by culture shifting into Manchu. They are basically like mercenaries in that they don't cost manpower to reinforce but cost as much as regular units and they can be drilled.
I can see that Arumba has no experience with the Manchu tribes. You should first go for the mission/decision that gives you CORES on basically everything and then after that for the permanent claims. Also, there is the one gold mine in Buryatia which is top priority IMO.
Ah, nvm, he just did in a quite different manner. I guess the AE in that region is not a problem so getting the reconquest CB is not necessary. Still, pretty messy start I'd say :D
Thank you for adding a number in the title card for the video. There have been so many times where I've had trouble finding the next episode of a series because I can't see the episode number in the thumbnail or title.
Hey Armumba! Like the edited video format, makes for a nice video, don't make all you videos like this but some (i.e. some streams) would be nice to se more of this format! Great content keep up the great work!
an interesting thing about banner recruitment, it looks to see if you are AT your cav to inf ratio, and if you are, it gives you an inf, otherwise you get a cav. What this means, is that if you want to only raise cav banners, you need to keep 1 infantry around :P (or find a way to get above 100% cav to inf ratio, either through a custom nation or the 20% age ability)
You can get 100% cav ratio just by following the Tengri faith and being a horde, without any age bonus or custom nation. Arumba does it in this campaign.
H20 Sire The only difference between horde and horse is one letter, so you have to go with cav. Hordes can do only two things: Horses and war, if you don’t use one of them you are not worthy to play a horde
I literally just started this run, had to restart a couple times now, I tried all three. Turns out not going to war, looting, and razing expendable provinces is really bad!! Also, I'm so glad to see this
I think the edit is great and a more to the point style. I am still learning about things while also not sitting through mostly tedious sort of maintenance.
It's actually super easy to break ming's mandate as they have a modifier if there's a bordering horde with over 300 development they start to lose shit loads of mandate
Since many people seem to like the cut video, I hereby announce, that I do prefer the non cut videos. Every cut I feel like I missed something important.

nice with the edit from twitch, love it! but is it just me or is arumba talking faster than usual? or is he simply making a speed up for the edit material?
ok thx, i guess yea he must have been fired up, and well the editing takes away normal pauses, so maybe that's why it feels that way :D thx for the good work though
I think a lot of people are going to agree with the fact that old let's play content that spans across 50-100 episodes has just become boring and redundant. Most people would rather have a 5 episode edited series or even a full on 4 hour video rather than having to wait and go through 50 episodes. Now I know for the content creator that sucks, but maybe you can make it up with streams and generally shorter campaigns that take less time to finish. I also know that you're getting tired of playing the same games over and over, and shortening the series to a few episodes can maybe let you branch out into some things you want to personally try, without turning your channel in a completely different direction.
I like the long game short videos, but I seriously hope that this is a seldom used thing on this channel. It's just no way to make a let's play. Stay with the comedic stuff.
I also vote for a slow pace. Not really about the pace itself but to explain decisions and stuff. 50% of the time I don't get anything xd I'm such a noob
I will take this into account next time, I expected this might be an issue. But honestly, maybe just rewatch the stream? I needed to trim 6 hours down to 1, there had to be trade-offs.

Thanks for editing this, Long Game Short! You are truly a gem.
This is hilarious. Chat is complaining that Arumba is taking too long but with the editing it looks like he is playing fast.
I'm sure it's still too slow for some ;)
Its perfect xD
Arumba is great and all but there is definitely truth behind the "welcome back to part 5...and this time we're going to unpause, I swear" meme.

I like the sped up editing of the video.
Best intro I've seen in a long time
Pronouncing Qing that way should be illegal.

Long Game Short is a pretty darn good editor. Glad you chose someone who has already edited long Paradox series before.
I like the pacing of the video a fair bit more than the usual. Good work Long Game Short.

This was, imo, so much better than your other videos, purely because of the editing. Fantastic job!
That unrest... ouch... 3/4ths of the country is just waiting to rebel
Why do you say "3/4ths"? Genuinely curious, in my country we would always say three quarters.
quicker to write?
After living in Asia for a long time and hearing Arumba try to pronounce provinces is amusing. I respect the effort!

The most wtf start of Arumba I’ve seen. :))
>plays as Horde
>uses infantry
lmao what are you doing dude
Rumba don't like cav, its expensive, also he don't don't like religious ideas. He love spam forts tho, they removes devastation.
when you dont like cav, dont play a horde
RandomNub0815 know its a week ago but when Arumba plays it doesnt matter what he uses
H20 Sire The only difference between horde and horse is one letter, so you have to go with cav. Hordes can do only two things: Horses and war, if you don’t use one of them you are not worthy to play a horde
