  • In this video we will add in additional details on to our cube and are almost done with the modelling.
But, the cube still has no color, I will show you a simpler way to add color using an attribute transfer node.
For more information about attributes check out Peter Quint's videos at sites.google.c... & vimeo.com/chan...

The new polyextrude tools do not function in the same way anymore. Specifically the remove shared sides. I am getting some overlaps that I don't quite know how to remove.

Those who are not getting the same result, need to use fuse node with a distance value of 0.001 after first poly extrude. Also, the divide into option should be set to individual elements in poly extrude.

Very good serie. Thank you, you have a very good way of explaining each step.
Unfortunatelly, Houdinin changed, therefore the sculpting is hard to redue.
Could you update these pasrt for Version 17?

Great tutorial. Not sure if I missed something or if it's a version problem, but the side faces disappearing when inset and z translation were matching doesn't seem to happen in v16. I had to add a fuse node after extrusion, to merge double points. Bevel node works differently too.

I'm having the same problem with H16. How did you use that fuse node to solve the issue?

      I added a Fuse node after the 1st polyExtrude : www.evernote.com/l/AbfeJAlibSFJJYpdFHsil8sR5aQLPogFDq8B/image.png
