Great tips, Peter. You've been a huge inspiration to us on our RUclips journey. You've taught me (Rhett) so many things and I just want to say thank you for that. I have no doubt the algorithm gods will be with you once again!
I am implementing your advice on working with brands by negotiating instead of just accepting free barter products. It has helped me identify worthwhile collaborations that justify the effort while making money! Thank you 😊🙏🏽
Dude - your growth is a direct reflection of the dedication you've always put in. The consistency; accuracy, technical acumen; and just plain caring shows in all your videos. I, for one, am super appreciative of you and your YT channels. Thanks mate!
As a guy that was once fit and is now trying to get back into a routine. I feel your pain! Also, thanks for dropping more for newer creators. The advice has been great lately!
I really do appreciate your openness about your journey: the good AND the bad. I've spent the last five years pushing hard on my separate RUclips channel, but am considering committing more time to this main channel and your tips are invaluable!
I would love to see regular RUclips livestreams. It’s interesting to see the progress of the 3d modeling and it’s great that you can interact with the live chat
I literally posted a video just before watching this and realised I posted 7 months ago last time. Due to perfectionism I ended up posting an April video only now because I lost the project file. That made me decide to just post the cut excl colour grading cause that's what made me procrastinate. Thank you for this video. I found it relatable and valuable. Let the LOGs start rolling out onto the web!
Good advice. You provide food for thought for people who want to enter the content creator space. It is also easy to see why you are successful...you also possess the essential qualities of being entertaining, informative and charismatic.
How do you put an accurate price for your work to the clients? Is there some kind of metrics that determine what you get paid like the amount of subscribers, watchtime or CTR to whatever you are promoting ? Thanks for another interesting video 👍
I think it's also important to mention that some are short edits for posting daily or weekly. Or long edits that will be posted once a month. There are channels that post once a month and have lots of views each time on them. For example studio edits are much faster and efficient, but not as engaging. Outdoor shoots, travel shoots or any sort where you do some challenge over a time-span are becoming like a documentary edit and take really long time.
I started watching You Peter almost 5 years ago and I learned a lot in FCPX with Your tutorials , You were like one of 5 people which inspired me to do it no matter what. You are talking about Your view from RUclips side and I have to be honest , I turned my videos into real art that takes me to do one movie about 4-12 months with 750-1500 elements inside just 1 movie . My all movies were published and guess what , almost no one watched it , it had 200 views . These movies are the top of tops , this is what happend , people are not looking for value and quality content , they just addicted to watch something and get to the next video , anything that is more than just talking isnt in their interest . Don't get me wrong about talking cuz without You I wouldn't be happy to discover so many great things in FCPX , but the point of my view is , I have to talk about anything or I'm not going to blow up. So this is specific about what content this is and this is hard to talk about it because there is not so many people doing art , as You know art movies and also b rolls takes a few steps further than just a basic vlog. God Bless You.
SO happy to hear you're going to be posting more videos! You, the other Peter n Matti are some of the RUclipsrs that inspired me to actually go hard at youtube. Excited to see more content from you man :D
Peter, appreciate the video as always. Super Helpful. When you say you make videos for brands, are they the more cinematic type of videos that you sometimes do here on your RUclips channel or are they more talking head videos doing a review of their product?
Great solid tip video and kind of the answers to some questions I had . I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago, always inspirational.! 👊 We have alot of the same taste in equipment too I see 😎. Also based in Göteborg and starting up my own small business (beginning phase), mainly towards videography of Active Safety testing , also with drones ofc. Who knows ; Maybe one day I’ll see you around or we will create something cool together in project! Need to catch up first though 😅. One question I have is about how to price projects for customers? Any tips on how you do it? 🤘
Always inspired by your insight. I confess that I'm not putting in the work to improve camera and video skills. I need to get off my @ss and hit record. Thanks for always sharing your journey. Hope to see you in that Toyota Tundra one day. Greetings from Sweet Home Alabama, Carlos
Much respect to you Peter. I am an occasional uploader on various channels and that's hard enough. Making this a full time thing feels almost impossible. Nevertheless another great video.
Well .. my videos improved so much because of your videos lol. anyhow I just didn't have time lately due to work. Can't afford to go full time YT and I'm fine with that :D
I have a Sony A6400 with a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens, and I’m planning to start shooting talking head videos indoors. I’m considering replacing the Sony A6400 with either the Sony FX30, Sony A6700, or Sony A7C II, but I’m totally confused about which one to choose. I haven’t shot any videos yet. Should I upgrade the camera and lens now, or wait a few months until I build a base audience for my RUclips channel before upgrading?
@@PeterLindgren1 yeah me too mate i dont have many followers but weve got some incredible adventures to look back at and thats motivation enough to keep going
Amazing b roll per usual from you Pete. But dude, you’re so far past these “what would I do if I could do it again” videos. Make more awesome cinema camera on an RC car vids or epic nerf gun battle vids!
@@PeterLindgren1 I not trying to throw shade. I really enjoy your content and have since you were >100k subs! What really set you apart from all of the other creators to me were the construction montages, the thinking outside of the box with your FPV drone vids and BTS with the metal band! I’m just surprised to see you making these videos like everyone else makes, I think you’re capable of making incredible content!💪
Peter, ingen av motionvfx länkarna fungerar för mig (kanske fel hos mig men andra länkar funkar däremot) bara så att du vet så du kanske vill kolla igenom det?
Good video but the title is wrong. It should be "5 things I wish I HAD known.......". You have used the INCORRECT American usage which is wrong. Google the term "past subjunctive" if you don't believe me.

Thanks for tuning in! I'm honoured to have been a part of your skill tree =)
btw, that second angle...wow. it's sick
I like how authentic you are Peter. Strong man
Thanks for the tips Peter. You’re one of the best RUclipsrs when it comes to gear, editing and the creative process! Keep up the good work 🙌🏼

Absolutley, not eery video has to be the best you've ever made. But you do learn from all of them.
Awesome tips 💯. I needed to hear alot of this 👍
Bra snack! Gav mig motivation att börja klippa min nästa video! Projektet failade men jag ska försöka få till en video av det ändå!
