Nice video. Every one tunes differently. You will get it. Just pay attention to your TRX 3.3. It will let you no. Stay positive. You got this. Everyone of us have been in your situation before. You will get it the way you are happy with it. 💯👍👊🏻🥇💪🏼
I feel im getting close, just want to bring that temperature under "control" and all is gravy. Then time to take a swing at carburetor rebuild on an other rig. I wouldn't be this far if it weren't for all of y'all, serious gratitude
Awesome looking Revo. I have no idea if it's lean or rich but it performed well and didn't cut out or stall on you. Compared to other videos I've watched your nitro ran quite well.
The engine definitely sounds like it is struggling ,I would say richen up the Lsn as well , as you richen it ,the engine will tell you if it likes it ,the high idle is probably do to lack of fuel while sitting at idle an not enough fuel from initial take off to full throttle hence the lack of smoke when you take off!..Nice truck!..😎👍
.75mm idle gap 4turns high flush inside lip low and I bet that is still to lean from these settings I would richen low half turn and see how the truck runs
I don't own a traxxas anything so I couldn't give u any good advice on that engine..all nitro engines take different tunes ..I would get a temp gun just to more accurately tell what temp u running and then your in a much better position to gage where u are between the temp and the way it sounds and throttle response..
I've been using the temperature gauge on my phone, just not sure how accurate it is. I'd say somewhere in the ballpark lol. Ill try taking it regularly to compare to running nature
Thank you! I'm going to try just that. I'm sitting at 4.5 on the han and the lan is flush. I'll richen the low a couple hours next time I'm out and try that. I haven't messed with the low much yet
It seems the slippers loose mabey It takes time bro. I am a slow learner I blew up engine after engine. Oh ya 80 dollars get Jenny’s RC cheap 2.5 engines for replacements. It’s a great cheap way to learn how to tune without spending your entire bank savings on engines and fuel.
I appreciate that advice! I've got a couple smaller engines on rc10gt s and another on a buggy I get to play with. I'll definitely learn especially with all the help!
@@MR.B.1620 Honestly I haven’t had an issue with any engine except a TRX 3.3 engine All of them prematurely failed. Bearing failures all of them. Some just lost one and were erratic and all ended up dying fast. Until they blew up and stopped working. What is strange though every other engine I’ve owned old New Beat to heck and back have outlasted everything I can throw at them. The last build I rebuilt a 2.5 after 10 plus gallons went through it and installed a 3.3 crank new bearings and sent it off for its next 10 gallons. It just happens without cause sometimes. They can fail or last forever 👍☺️
This guy is 100% correct. Tighten the slipper clutch. The larger tires are causing slippage more than likely. Then retune from there. I’ve got mine tightened completely where it doesn’t slip at all but I’ve got hardened steel teas gears and upgraded everything in the driveline. Try it out and see how that works before getting the tune u currently have outta wack. It may be closer than u think.
@@mattfavor2940 I appreciate that, I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and give this a try. I also felt that it was loose. I'm going to work on upgrading I suppose as pieces give out. Thanks again!

@@MR.B.1620 nice. What nitro buggy did i see in the back ground. Woooo👊🏻
6:09 this is a very lean sounding engine
8:30 richen the low half turn to start maybe even a full turn
looks awesome and cool run
Thanks Man, tons of fun
Good looking paint job 👌
Hell yeah, thanks Man
It’s spitting smoke… Nice body. Cool vid.
I hit a curb on a runaway during break-in last weekend. She starts fine. Got my parts and gonna repair it Friday after work.
The Revo runs….
I'm guessing is your low needle that's super lean and your high compensating
You were right

I appreciate that, I'm just going with it and we'll see what happens hahahaha. Little experiment here and there.

Looks like the rambo movie set love itv
@@Revelation1177 smaller spur going in soon so should have a lot more pep

the os 11k carburetor will be your best friend for the 3.3. I'd say adjust the 2 speed.
Cool 👍
Turn on your low speed needle down it is crawling away at idle
I did some significant adjusting after this video, you can see it on the feed. One of them is me hitting the pole hahahaha
Check your high-speed needle valve it might be loose and going lean
Hey, thank you!!! I will check that as well, have to break out the schematics lol
I don't know if they love them or want to eat them 🤔

Yup your needles are way out of balance low very lean high very very very rich

How did you blow them up?
