its nice to have found my way back to this channel. I remember watching your videos religiously in awe at shamu. I had lost the fishing interest for a while and as you can imagine my recommended stopped having fishing videos now that I found this channel again all those memories all came rushing back
The eggs you're referring to are from a snail that has a tennis ball sized shell. They're invasive to New Orleans, where I'm from. Not sure why or where they come from, but they're definitely eggs from some huge snails.
That's a big ass gar!! Nice catch! Those were snail eggs you showed earlier in the video. They're all over the lakes and ponds here in Florida. Another great video bro! Can't wait for the next episode!
so they let it suffocate or something to death im confused? Wasnt moving when it was on land like it was dead but I didnt see them dispatch it? At least put the thing out of its misery if yall are gonna kill it if its invasive
In the Philippines where I'm originally from are similar to or maybe the same kind of eggs that are layed by fresh water snails that we call "kohol". We cook those things with coconut milk, sauteed with veggies, and stuff. It's pretty good eating but not the eggs. But yeah those snails can eat a lot of the rice from rice paddies and kind of a nuisance to farmers
no joke, go fish the Homosassa River in Florida if you wanna find alligator gar! 2017 I caught one every bit as big as that fella off a hotel dock near the Monkey Island with a tiny shrimp for bait and a Walmart Ugly stick with 16# braided line 😅😅 Man it was epic
Those things are snail eggs, I have had then in my tank before. I believe they are apple snail eggs. When laid out of water it hardens and when you push on them it's like air inside sometimes baby dead snails
Wow man ! Fricking awesome giant ! I know you two wouldn’t never intentionally harm that giant …. Do the swamp people eat that kind of fish ? Wild man , looks really fun to fish for !
He had a little trouble getting the rope around it. Maybe next time, make the loop around the rod and just slide it down the line and onto the fish...?
Tis big but actually small for that species of alligator gar.... We used to go out on a river boat with lanterns at night and spear them.. biggest I've ever caught Was about 270lbs
Hey Zak, everyone talks about polarized sunglasses and we have seen the results, but can you find one for the camera you use? Would be awesome to see the fish in water you see on the vids you post.
Thing is I haven’t found a polarized camera filter nearly as good as the waterlandco sunglasses or any other great polarized sunglasses. I have a polarization filter on my camera all the time it’s just not nearly as good as the glasses lenses it’s a massive difference
@@CatchEmAllFishingZakCatchEm just making a suggestion brah, but if you yourself produced and manufactured a polarized camera filter I bet that product would make you generationally wealthy. Look, you fish, you’re in the film industry, you know TONS of players in the game, have the funding/know funders…it could be a massive game changer in outdoors content and fishing videography. I’d love to be a partner in it of course 😉🤣 😊

In response to your inquiry on the caviar, those are most definitely w/o a doubt 100% USDA Cornback Dolphin eggs.🐬🥚🍳

Are they Apple Snail 🐌 egg packets Zak❓ I think I remember 🤔 you telling us about them in another video but I could be incorrect.
You are correct
Thanks Zak for making me itch! Whatever laid those eggs must be the bigger cousin of the critter that lays these white eggs on my white car! GHEESH!!
Zack out here catching dinosaurs In rivers 😂

Thats a mad catch Dude they're crazy looking fish. How old would that fish be? How long would it take for a Gator Gar to get to over 6ft.
About 40 years old ATLEAST..
Probably closer to 100.
I've been watching for years now and he has not changed a single bit. Proud

Yes sir Louisiana!!! I’m from Lafayette I watch the channel all the time 💯💯 great catch!!
It’s so wild that the bait you are using (grass carp) are the biggest fish I catch in my lakes in Colorado!!! Lmao mind blowing 😂
Bighead Carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis).

The Apple Snail laid those pink clusters of eggs
I actually really like Your videos
I love your videos bro
Support catch and release. Good stuff
Gar and carp give you a stronger fight that most "game" fish. Great fun!!
A snail laid all those eggs. An apple snail. They live in water but lay egg well above the water line.
Dang- this episode is crazy, but like a whole whale?! DAMN-
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Those are definitely Apple snail eggs!!!!
The eggs are laid above water, when they hatch. The baby (SNAILS) drop into the water and start their new life!!!
Good luck 🤞 with best wishes
