    its nice to have found my way back to this channel. I remember watching your videos religiously in awe at shamu. I had lost the fishing interest for a while and as you can imagine my recommended stopped having fishing videos now that I found this channel again all those memories all came rushing back

    Gator gar are a true living dinosaurs. They get a bad wrap but they are gentle giants. Amazing creatures.

    The eggs you're referring to are from a snail that has a tennis ball sized shell. They're invasive to New Orleans, where I'm from. Not sure why or where they come from, but they're definitely eggs from some huge snails.

    They are Apple snails. Make a great pet in the aquarium. Clean, and they eat lettuce. They keep the grass down in water ways

    In the Philippines where I'm originally from are similar to or maybe the same kind of eggs that are layed by fresh water snails that we call "kohol". We cook those things with coconut milk, sauteed with veggies, and stuff. It's pretty good eating but not the eggs. But yeah those snails can eat a lot of the rice from rice paddies and kind of a nuisance to farmers

    Those are actually from the apple snail 🐌 one of the largest snail species grow to the size of 2 cupped hands around 5-6 inches

    no joke, go fish the Homosassa River in Florida if you wanna find alligator gar! 2017 I caught one every bit as big as that fella off a hotel dock near the Monkey Island with a tiny shrimp for bait and a Walmart Ugly stick with 16# braided line 😅😅 Man it was epic

    Those things are snail eggs, I have had then in my tank before. I believe they are apple snail eggs. When laid out of water it hardens and when you push on them it's like air inside sometimes baby dead snails

    Tis big but actually small for that species of alligator gar.... We used to go out on a river boat with lanterns at night and spear them.. biggest I've ever caught Was about 270lbs

    Hey Zak, everyone talks about polarized sunglasses and we have seen the results, but can you find one for the camera you use? Would be awesome to see the fish in water you see on the vids you post.

      Thing is I haven’t found a polarized camera filter nearly as good as the waterlandco sunglasses or any other great polarized sunglasses. I have a polarization filter on my camera all the time it’s just not nearly as good as the glasses lenses it’s a massive difference
