It was (with exception of Rutta's elbow) like one-sided blindness for Swedish fouls (see the tripping even in this video at 3:02 ). Thankfully in the quarterfinals and the finals the referees were pretty good.

Even that swedes got "only" bronze outcome, sweden was one of the best or if not the best team in this tournament. Also Canada was very good. USA too. Its just one bad game and lot of things change. Quarterfinals etc should be best of 3 games?
Everyone has the same conditions. If they are such excellent players, they should have no problem winning all the matches. The only thing that matters is how the players swallow their EGAs and start playing as a team and not individually, and the Czechs were TOP in that.
@fifisko_voxen A championship is not going to be boring because one team isn't playing, since they can only play in 10 out of 64 games which is not even close to 20% of the tournament... don't be so mad and enjoy the games or don't watch at all... it is simple really
I wanted CANADA to be in the finals against us for epic showdown and in my mind much tougher opponent. SWITZERLAND showed sharp elbows at this tourney so i am not taking nothing from them only respect. I think our boys will find way to leave them in the second place. We will see. Poďme!
