A canoe trip down the Spey with our one year old

We had 4 days in the calendar marked as "holiday" so we were keen to do something local and adventurous with Mittie. A canoe trip down the River Spey from Loch Insh to Spey Bay seemed to fit the bill perfectly.
We were nervous about how camping and paddling on a river with a one year old for the first time would go but Mittie rose to the challenge and took it in her stride.
Turns out new is not new to toddlers :)
p.s. Huge thank you to our pals Christine & Sam for completing our shuttle by busting out a cycle up the Speyside Way. They peddled our trip in reverse in one day.
