This is a good method, but there are no parametric elements and none of the calculation is shown - thus anyone looking at this cannot make a gear of any other size or tooth pitch...

By taking the constraints oprion and selecting the inclined line and verticle axis
If two intersecting lines are selected their angle is shown as dimension
