There is a better way, you use Inventor, then u generate the gear without thinking, while you are at it you can generate the other gear too and do the complete power calculation. It will be faster and easy.

i'm confused about distance between 2 circles which are used for thickness of tooth. why the parameter is 3.14? Is there any formula such like that? my parameters are z=55, m=5 mm, i couldn't make it, i ll be happy for your help :)

ya i had same problem, play the video at 0.5 speed n do it twice or thrice the same procedure then at one point when u r solving step by step u will be able to pad the figure correctly. been there done that, felt bad when the command box pops up telling that i need to re configure the whole thing :)
