You wont find curves like this anywhere,I love all things MK 2's. We really led the way when it came to stylish motor cars. They say the Italians have it cornered, But I disagree. I think we were no 1.Wonderful Job done on this old iconic beauty.

When I look at this wonderful example of a British classic. This mk 2 is just a beautiful specimen of a motor car unrivalled in appearance.

Love this car and what you've done to the car, jag Mk2 is and will be always my favourite. Such an iconic car and a classic beauty.

A lot of skill and time to bring that car back to that level. Beautiful car.

Lovely car, Jaguar should make more cars like that but in an updated and modern way. Thank you for sharing 🧡

Yes I'd agree.. they rot everywhere.. I don't quite get how it didn't need sills and lots of welding repairs... unless it's parked under a tree in the desert.

Nice job! Red cars are a bugger to fix after they're been left to the mercy of the elements. This Jag is obviously in remarkably sound condition - begs the question why was it just left outdoors to get in such a state??

Well, it’s very shiny. ….But does it work?

Very nice, the only bit that let's it down is that the wheels are too new. The correct 'curly hub' wheels are what should be fitted.

ace crusader No I wet sanded it and machined it with a compound and machine refined the paint with a soft finishing pad and various polishes

You must be the only person in the world who says he can remove micro blistering without stripping the paint ,sorry it doesn't happen, it will be back !

Well it’s been 2 years and it hasn’t re appeared it was wet sanded then machine polished I guess dry use and dry storage has also helped. It was the cheaper alternative to a full re paint which would have cost a fair few thousand more than what we did for the client.

Wrong music! It's not a story about a wounded street dog who gets rescued, it's a car!!

Lovely motorcar, commendable restoration, but that soundtrack is godawful. Who listens to this shit? Being forced to listen to this schlock is my idea of Hell. Save yourself! Mute immediately!!!
