Even though I cant relate to these cats as The Foghat Blues Band - Lonesome Dave and Rod Price - these four guys are some of the coolest players on the planet. Whoever the guitar player is he sure rocks my soul - this has become my favourite version of this classic blues standard - rock on forever!
I don't know all the originals but I've been around rock n roll long enough to know that is some heavy duty jamming!.......that's some rare good stuff right there!
Now this is outstanding! "I Just Want To Make Love To You" is an old Willie Dixon blues song that Foghat remade into a hard rock song. It's great to see them paying tribute to the original. .
Stunningly beautiful, true to the blues without lapsing into Satriani-esqe speed tapping crap like too many do in the midst of a blues excursion. Lovely tone and a great song. Not used to the slower tempo, but love it. I guess there's a longer version?
I'm really digging this version, it almost comes across as a blues headcutting contest. But, and don't jump on my s**t, Foghat just isn't Foghat without Dave and Rod.
SEEN'UM LIVE 3 TIMES....GOOD AS HUMBLE PIE.
Gets better every time I hear it
Awesome, now that is music Rockn Roll

I really like this piece of music. Very tasteful and interesting. The interplay between the guitarists is great.

Very good! Much better than I expected!
As good as a 'bluesy heavy metal' jam can get !

Craig was alive when this was done. He died in 2018. This was performed in 2010.
Can anyone pls say how many of the original Foghat band are in this performance? and who are they? The bass player is the only one I recognize.

Great band but certainly not Foghat ..please use another name
Why? Name is legally owned by the drummer Roger Earl. He is a founding member and has every right to call the band Foghat.
