Never ever go through a private company promising federal grants, instead if you need help contact your state's department of agriculture. That is the bureau that handles federal home improvement loans/grants and will put you in touch with an agent from the department that will help you apply for and find any available resources. Private companies like this are solely interested in profiting off of your desperate situation.
