- Kelsea Ballerini isn’t holding back. On the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, the country star details her ‘nasty’ divorce from Morgan Evans. The two tied the knot in 2017, after what Kelsea called a ‘whirlwind romance.’ Kelsea says, despite getting engaged, she wasn’t ready to get married. When it came to splitting assets in the divorce, she reveals the big thing she had to give up to move on and put her marriage in the past.
The 2 were married nearly 5 years after tying the knot at 2017 doesn't make any damn sense. Tying the knit means to get married.

I agree with her, I understand her, but somehow saying that you don't care for your ex partner's feelings anymore feels too... I don't know how to describe it. If you say you respect him and then say you don't care for his feelings where is the respect?

I 100% understand as this was something I went through. I respect my ex and wish him all of the best. However, his feelings do not get to play into my decisions in life. She could have worded it better as what she means is that she doesn't have to live her life in the way that pleases him anymore. She's living for herself now, not a marriage that wasn't working.
His feelings shouldn’t take precedence over what she is feeling or has to do for herself. Same goes for him. I’ll never understand people that judge someone else’s relationship like they were in it to understand wat either of them were feeling. (Not talking about you) those who are judging her for ending a relationship that obviously wasn’t working for them.

Too many people don’t take marriage seriously and celebrities really fall into that category. I hope that they are both doing better now and can make better choices for themselves. @@1corinthians139 I am not sure because I am not them but I think it could have been a lack of a shared vision plus lack of communication. He claims he was blindsided by her filing for divorce but there could have been repetitive arguments that led to her feeling invalidated or unheard. Usually when a partner files for a divorce, it is the woman. I will say there are rumors that she cheated, but there is no proof, just gossip.

I absolutely hate that Kelsea Ballerini is airing her issues on social media. She's obviously pissed or upset (although she's happily dating) and she wants to stick it to him. Her husband is taking the classy road and just not responding to her repeated nastiness.

I have never been married, but I have been in love. I believe that both sides have a right to have their own truth and the right to move on with their lives. What bothers me though is that people today are airing their private moments publicly more and more. I am more old school and that means private matters should always remain private. The only time private and personal issues should see the public spotlight is when one partner was abusive toward the other. Absent that, keep everything private.

How sad that she’s quick to make it clear that she was the one to contribute more money towards the house purchase and imply that because of this she was hard done by because her ex husband got half. “He contributed, but it wasn’t equal”. This is such a toxic attitude, especially coming from a woman because it undermines the contribution the other person has made to the home. Just because someone doesn’t contribute as much financially doesn’t mean the contribution isn’t equal. In most circumstances it’s usually the reverse: Men are often able to contribute more financially because statistically they still earn more than women. Does this mean the woman’s contribution, or the homemaker’s contribution, is any less? Of course not. What a sad and toxic message to be sending to men and women alike.

I wouldn’t be able to be famous to much drama and women have to always have receipts that there going through something with there ex and I’d get sick of the double standards for both sides especially since I have really bad anxiety and depression to begin with add on problems and the world judging you for being human yeah not good for the mental health of anyone my ex was a narcissist emotional abuser and cheated got a friend of ours pregnant lost the kid left her because she wanted her husband back came running to me pleading me to take him back I say no and I’m the selfish bitch because I didn’t even give him the benefit of the doubt when I did 2x he cheated and hurt me but I didn’t say anything and smiled through the pain even the last time before we split I asked him very calmly and nicely (which pissed him off) did you cheat on me with her he goes off saying I never got her pregnant I go I never said anything about a pregnancy I’m asking did you fuck her but so calm which freaked him out and made ppl stare at us and there like omg she’s abusing him yet he was in my face and bruised my wrist and almost pushed me in the middle of the street everyone was like you had more patience then us also why not leave sooner I was like I did try but y’all said to work it out with him his ppl not mine then once I proved he was a narcissist and emotional abuser everyone stared being mean to him and apologizing to me I was like I don’t want no sorry I also don’t want you disrespecting anyone yeah he was a bad guy but isn’t losing the best thing you ever had enough leave it alone let’s all move on so that’s why I can’t be famous for the sake of both parties I’ll get blamed first then later on everyone will realize there wrong and want to pitty me and be rude to the person that hurt me I’m good

No one may believe me, but from day one I knew they wouldn’t last. I always said to myself that I hoped she remained true, but I could tell she was very shallow, and if she could come on stage with no clothes on, she would. She doesn’t have any true self-esteem or compassion it appears like. I do not know if she was cheating, but like someone else that I do believe she was because of the quickness of her filing, and how quick the ink was dry on their divorce papers, and how willing she was to do anything to get out of it. There’s no need for that if you’re not cheating. But what goes around comes around and that is a fact. He can recover, but in five years her stock won’t be worth anything.
