I take nothing away from Julien Alfred's win however the Olympic security not letting Sha'Carri and Shelly-Ann warm up before their semi-and final is outrageous and ludicrous. This caused Shelly- Ann to withdraw from the race and Sha'Carri to me, lost the Gold because of their actions. This was a set-up negligent act to discourage both runners from having a relaxed mindset and warm up before running the most prestigious race of their lives. You could tell from the Semi that the incident caused Sha'Carri to lose focus and Shelly Ann to scratch from the race entirely. What was the reason for this outrageous nonsense towards an all-time great and new upstart in the sprinting world? Only those who created that foolishness could have the answer. Shelly Ann and Sha'Carri my hat is off to you both and may the joy and excitement you shared with your sprinting prowess remind the dust just who you are.
